Afternoon Guys,

Looking to purchase a new to me truck.

Wanted to throw up a wanted ad on here to see if anyone has anything for sale currently or coming up soon. Im in no rush, but want to get the right truck.

Looking for a 2016-2022 Ford F250 or F350. Must be Diesel, 4x4, and Lariat or higher interior. Looking for under 65k miles. Preferably white, silver, grey or black.

Doesnt matter if its stock or mildly modified. Not looking for anything too lifted or overdone.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks man. They are out there. I look multiple times a day.

I have one that im ready to pull the trigger on, but he doesnt have the title currently. Waiting to see if he gets that worked out. I am a cash buyer but i dont want to deal with some weird paperwork situation. Clean title in hand is important to me and pretty much a non negotiable unless there is a loan with a bank which is a totally different situation.

Be patient
I have been following the used market for Super Duties and prices are coming down. You should be able to get into what you want, for your budget, but may have to come up on the mileage. There are 2021 Lariat Ultimate with 50K miles on them out there in the $55K - $60K range.

Personally I would stay away from the 2016's. Stay with the 2017 - 2022 models. I personally think 2019 was the best year.

Verify the vin on truck matches the engine block. So you know it has not been vin swapped.

Thank you man. I really like the 2019s. They are out there for sure and i agree prices seem to be softening. I have some room to move up a few grand in budget or up in mileage a bit. I really am hoping to find something that is well cared for and i can keep for a long time.

I talked to the registration company that i use and they said they could do a vin check on the truck and go through all of that, but i personally dont think i should have to jump through those hoops for an almost 60k truck. In my eyes having the title in hand is the most important part of selling a vehicle or toy.

I know most people are straight shooters and likely the title just got lost in the mail or something but you still never know what the deal could be or if its legit or not.

Nic did they find your stolen truck yet man? Such a shitty situation with all of the other theft going on in your area.

No. They said it will most likely be vin swapped and sold quickly. Or it's chopped up for parts. He said most likely not going to Mexico.

That's why I mentioned it. The auto theft task force neighbor. Said he regularly gets them back from the new buyer. And they are out the cash. They use a GPS blocker. Sell the stolen truck and remove the blocker. GPS shows where truck is 2-4 weeks after stolen and they go recover it. Trucks are is priced 10k below market so they go quick.

Wow, that makes perfect sense. I wouldnt have even thought of that. No matter what i buy i am going to have vin checked and verified prior to purchase regardless of who im buying it from. I would like to do private party to save some cash but there is an added risk factor of that.
