Whats with all the empty shelves? You go in there for 5 or so things and your lucky to come out with 2 of them. Kingman is very bad but Bullhead not much better. The old lady asked me to get her cigarettes in addition to the other item I was getting and totally wiped out except for menthol's. Needed some magnesia the BHC store and Kingman store been out for at least 2 weeks.......they blow.

Majority of products on those shelves arrive via boat.
That and a ton of suppliers have pulled products from Walmart - no need to meet the strict requirements and discounts Walmart mandates

you should keep an eye on ammo !
Once ammo costs go up you bet astroglide has gone all the way thru the frt door and end up at the back door, cost wise

Not sure how much of this stuff is shipped from overseas but we got notice that Japan, Malaysia and a few other places are shutting down, mandatory lock down for 70% of its workers due to Covid. This will impact manufacturing in many ways. Only possible silver lining I see is maybe we bring back manufacturing to the USA.
Again, not sure if this is related to shelves being bare and lack of supplies however we are in for some hard times ahead.

I have been noticing the same thing for months, but honestly when paying attention there is No employees to answer questions, fill shelves etc. They want self check out and cut out all in their opinions unnecessary employees. It's all about the $'s you know.

Unfortunately US manufacturers are being shut down also if considered nonessential. My company is essential and we can’t fill orders because we have so many people out just because of the possibility of having Covid. God for bid somebody gets the sniffles. 🙄

Our local Walmart is stocking as fast as they can. They are getting extra trucks that come on non-delivery days and even went back to overnight stocking to try and keep up. Not sure where people get their buy lists, but it seems random things get listed and suddenly they can't keep it on the shelves. Panic buying may have more of an effect out west, but they are doing pretty good around here.

I have never seen so many containers ships sitting on anchor for the past month. Not sure why they aren't unloading them. Maybe they are waiting for something to go away when new president comes aboard.

Just a heads up...there are strict, nationwide lockdowns coming here in the US as promised by Joe and The Marxists. I expect it to be mandated right after The Marxists take power this month.

Seriously, they're not letting this pandemic "opportunity" go to waste and everyone will pay a much greater price so the Marxists can increase their power, hammer conservatives, as they move to join the New World Order as part of the Great Reset - a proposal by the World Economic Forum (WEF) to rebuild the economy sustainably following the COVID-19 pandemic. It was unveiled in May 2020 by the United Kingdom's Prince Charles and WEF director Klaus Schwab.

A lot of these nationwide shortages have to do with Gavin Newsomes shutdown of California. I was at the beach last weekend and counted 32 Cargo Ships just anchored offshore in Long Beach just sitting there. When there is nobody unloading these ships the shelves go bare within a matter of weeks.

Enjoy your Socialism folks. The next 4 years is going to be a dumpster fire! 🔥

Our future doesn't look very promising. my father, 96 years old, WW II vet, grew up during the depression still sharp as a tac, worked and was a great provider for our family, he just shakes his head and and says he's glad he wont be around to see the decline and fall of what was once the greatest country. Makes you wonder what our grandchildren have to look forward too.
This post started because shelves are starting to get bare at a Wallmart, basic supplies are harder to get and the cost (if you do find them) are rising. Its a HUGE problem, and the American people better wake up. It will be interesting to see how the next 4 years pan out.

I've seen several posts in the last couple of days where people said they were glad their parents weren't around to see this, my wife and I discussed the same thing and kind of agree. Sorry your father has to see this, and please thank him for his service.

They can only build so many trains. And they've been building a ridiculous number of them. 2 weeks ago I was told there were enough cans on the ground to build 30 trains and there were enough ships off shore to build 8 more. For reference, trains depart about every 1-2 hours if all goes well.

Walmart must have serious logistic issues because ours is missing a ton of items and our other grocery stores are fully stocked.

Honesty, I cant see shopping there for much, their prices have gone up and you can do better shopping the deals at other stores.

On a good note, I don't know where they find their employees at Walmart but I can tell you they are keeping a lot of the unemployable from being homeless.

I work at alameda and Sepulveda and its a huge train spur, seems about the norm. My drive home usually takes me 15-25 minutes to go 2 miles to get on 405, since covid no wait at all. So maybe its the trains and demand.
