Wakesurfing World Championships in Parker

The World Wakesurfing Championships are being held this weekend in Parker. To those with freeboard challenged vessels, consider yourself warned

Looks like the event is at Bluewater but I'm sure riders will be practicing on the river beforehand and riding afterward. May want to test your bilge pumps before backing off the trailer on Saturday

Without seeing the boat, I know I followed one called an "EPIC" that threw a wake every bit as big as that if not bigger up river once.. The wave was so big, I never even attempted to go outside of it, and pass him.. LOL And no he wasn't towing anyone.

Not even close...that wave is about as extreme as it gets. I just posted it to get all the rollbar boat haters riled up and bump up RD's hit count. Too bad it's not being driven by union rep...

Centurion Enzo's are used in most comps and they will no-doubt throw a big wave but probably about 1/2 the size as in the pic. That's plenty to throw pretty much any wakesurfing trick including aerials.

I think this will be a one time event, if the wakes (waves) are that big. When they have the circle boat races and ski races, there is a coast guard official, and sometimes a core of engineers official at the events.

The reason for the 5 M.P.H. area is because of some endangered fish that breeds in the shallow water of the cattails accross from the casino.

I love wake surfing And If the driver drives correctly the opposite wake will wash over before it hits shore and the interior wake rolls back into itself and break down to a wake the siZe of a normall boat

And don't hate on us wakeboarders because you have a hard time standing in your boat, being pulled behind it would just ruin your world!


I bet if half of the haters came out on the boat with us you would have a great time and be amazed on how much fun we have, and yes there are some real toolboxes with wakeboard boats but it goes for all types of boats pontoons fishing boats big power boats

Tattoos got really exspensive since I got my last 12+ years ago. Something about paying a tweaker that was good in art class $150 an hour rubs me the wrong way...lol
