Just watched the latest edition on Netflix. Although I’ve seen pretty much every documentary and show about it. Thoughts? I thought it was pretty unbiased. One particular government employee that I didn’t care for, but everyone has to justify something.

I thought it was pretty good as well, pretty much right down the middle and unbiased. I know that guy you're talking about he needs a punch in the face.

Ive toured the site since my daughter is at Baylor. Im trying to figure out why they had Abrams tanks onsite.. not needed at all for that operation. The buildings and layout is much smaller than it looks on TV.

Ruby ridge was the same. Whole army to take out 3 people. It’s what happens when the government is scared

I want to know how the fire started. Good series.

I have read in the past that Tear gas is extremely flammable. This wasn’t the first time the government had used it and discussions of fire happened before the decision to use it and they did anyways.

Wife and I started watching the Waco mini series on Prime video this morning. It aired in 2018 and is pretty good so far.

I was only 10 years old when this all went down, so has never really been something I have followed or researched, but damn this is eye opening.

The cult aspect, polygamy aspect or whatever aspect of their life doesn't freaking matter, they were minding their own damn business and did nothing wrong.

Those people were murdered by the ATF & FBI, all for a freaking news story. Makes me sick.

Are we talking about the same programs here? I don't think I've seen a solid documentary on this subject.

There was a lot of arrogance on both sides that escalated out of control.
I think showing up with dozens of ATF agents and storming the main building like it was a terrorist compound in Kabul was the initiating arrogance, and the decisions made from that point on by Janet Reno (like using sleep deprivation tactics and tanks to insert teargas into a building occupied by dozens of men, women, and children) caused everything afterwards.

I remember watching it on the nightly news, in hindsight it was a pure propaganda piece by the media. Absolutely disgusting, but after covid we know that literally every story they cover is propaganda, and has been propaganda. The demise of their power is fantastic to gloat in.

There was a lot of arrogance on both sides that escalated out of control.

I haven’t watched anything about this but I followed it closely at the time.

David Keresh (? Spelling) was a total nut job. His “followers” were nut jobs and naive weak minded people.

They kept to themselves, Keresh went to town once a week on schedule. They could have arrested him anytime they wanted without incident.

The government killed many “innocent” people.

For you to state arrogance on both sides dismisses the FACT that these people were citizens and they were murdered needlessly by THEIR government.

I met Randy Weaver at a gun show in Overland Park, Kansas many years ago when he was selling his book. He was an incredibly humble and genuine nice guy that only wanted to be left alone. They murdered his family as well, completely destroying any credibility that they had.

Its obscene to suggest these loons at the Keresh compound deserved to be murdered by their government.

Yes they were loons, no they didn’t deserve to be murdered by the very institution that was designed to protect their right to be loons….

It's a 2 season drama series that aired in 2018 and 2023 on Paramount Plus. Based on books written by the FBI negotiator and surviving members. First season is the standoff/fire. Second season is trial of survivors and glimpse of the past and how David Koresh, came to be.

Sure looked like both sides were armed. Ready to kill. And those not armed, were ready to stand witness for eternity.

Arrogance was the bombing of the Oklahoma Federal building. 😳

Speaking of that, today AG Pam Bondi said the DOJ will be aggressively pursuing the death penalty for perpetrators of "heinous" crimes. It's my sincere hope that those convicted in the future will speedily join Timothy McVeigh in Hell.
And that brings us full circle. McVeigh was actually interviewed at Waco and was very vocal about his anger with the feds and how they were treating our American citizens. Situations like Waco have huge unexpected repercussions.

Your innuendo is laughable except that you trivialize the death of innocent people by their own government. “Ready to kill”

Your obvious insinuation that anyone that practices the Second Amendment deserves to have the ATF, FBI, etc come and kill them Is disgusting and abhorrent

I watched the Wasco series on HBO or something on Cable, around 2018. Is this the same series, and it has a season 2?

David Koresh was a serial child molester and rapist, fuck that guy and the dipshit cultists who holed up with him on that compound. That POS didn’t want to be held accountable for his crazy behavior and he led his brain washed minions into a firefight with the cops who showed up to put his bs to an end.
