We've tried cleaning the IAC but still have a high idle. If you see a chaparral not quite wakeless through the channel that's us. It idles uncontrollably from 1000-1400

Remove and clean the flame arrester . Then look inside the throttle body at '12 o'clock', for a small FOAM filter piece .
Remove it with needle nosed pliers, clean with 'carb cleaner spray' . Stuff back into the square hole when clean .
Place boat in water, or hook up a water line to the drive .
Start, and allow the motor to IDLE for 15 minutes, placing shift into gear, both forward and reverse multiple times in that 15 minutes . (650 in and out of gear)
If the IAC is good, the motor will idle correctly after the 15 minutes, if not, it's a GM part .
Does the motor run correctly above idle speeds ? This may be a fuel pump problem and not an IAC problem .
Not looking for trouble, just asking ..........
Is that photo, before or after cleaning the IAC ? Because the screws still have not been 'paint chipped' in that pic .
