Being in the line of work I am, I see what brands are popular and whats new with online shoppers.

Been seeing more and more boxes with vevor on the outside that I’ve been delivering. Just checked out their website, all sorts of different products priced relatively well, check it out.

I recently bought a Vevor strut spring compressor. The price was really good and it’s a tool I’ve thought about buying for awhile. Hubert Rowland who takes care of Travis Pastrana’s stuff turned me on to it. After ordering it was delivered by UPS within 3 days and was shipped from Kentucky. I used it to adjust all 4 Fox shocks & coils springs on my B-I-L new Arctic Cat XX. I did it with leaving the shocks on the car, not the way I’d normally do it, but that’s the way Hubert has done it on the Can Am’s. Once done I noticed the body of the spring compressor was getting scared up from cranking it down pretty good.

I called their support phone # which sounds like a company they hired to take the calls & offer tech help or start claims tickets. I asked where was she located and she said she was in LA. During the phone call she sent me a text, to send pictures too, and a claim #. She told me during the night I would get a email from the company (Assume in China) saying they are looking into my complaint & pictures. 24 hours later I get another email stating they will be shipping me a new spring compressor. I emailed asking if it was just the one part or a whole kit and how do I send the bad one back? Next email said a kit and they would send me the tracking # as soon as it ships. So I’m guessing they don’t want the original tool back and it’s not just the one part?

So far I’m more than happy with the tool. The local customer service and the customer service from Asia has been easy and great too. I would not hesitate to buy another tool from Vevor.

Here is the kit I bought, and you can see the scaring on the body of the tool. Really if I took the shocks off, I could have reached more coils and not had to compress it as much, thus maybe not have had to put as much load & tension on the tool. It’s a nice kit too and it sounds like I might have two of them.

Good to hear you had a good experience. I know between harbor freight and websites like this it’s all Chinese made stuff, but if and when something does go wrong and they make it right easily makes the difference.

They just seems to offer a wide variety of stuff, I was eyeballing everything from their airjacks to their professional donut maker

I tried to buy a stainless plow anchor from them for my SeaRay. They took my money and never shipped it. I called 2 weeks later and they said they couldn't find the transaction and there was nothing they could do despite me giving them the transaction number and the date the payment posted to my credit card. Terrible first impression with me and I got a very fraudulent type gut feeling throughout the whole thing.

I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back. F*ck that company.

Im betting you were buying from a fake clone scam website? The fact they could not find your transaction or confirmation # makes me think you did not actually order from them, but from a scam website dupping to be them.

A few years ago I ordered an electric scooter online. I got a confirmation email. Then a confirmation tracking #. After 8-10 days the tracking # never moved out of Europe. I sent emails back and nothing. Checked my CC and the charge went through. After some searching online I found a company phone # that worked and called them and found out I never actually ordered from the real company. It was a scam site pretending to be them. The Scam site was even a sponsored website on Google. About a month after I placed my order the fake site was gone, as I had it saved. Same deal as you had to call my CC and file a fraud claim. It took about two billing cycles and the charge was removed from our account.

not a bad theory and I'd be inclined to agree with you but I'm very good about checking my URLs. especially prior to inputting any sensitive information. Whatever the reason, they screwed up and I'm not inclined to give them another chance. It's hard to trust a company that doesn't have any general theme amongst their wide range of seemingly random offerings to begin with.

It does not have to be a fake URL. It could be they pop up these bogus websites for a few days, weeks collect a bunch of charges and close them down before they get caught or reported. Example the real site is Vevor.com, but a scam site my go by Vevortool.com or Vever.com and mirror image the real site. This is what happened to me with the scooter. Bogus site, scooter was on sale etc..

Agree they have a random theme of products, and don’t blame you for not trying again. If I had a bad experience with a brand or website I’d stay away too. Heck I ended up buying electric scooters at Costco instead of online. At least I could see it and walk out with it.

I have an ice machine in my garage from them. Works like a charm!
That's good to hear. I've been eyeballing them but was hesitant. They are very reasonably priced compared to other brands. Which model did you get if you don't mind me asking?

Spending over $75 a weekend on ice (frozen water) gets a little old.

I'm currently considering one of their aluminum trailer tongue boxes via Amazon.

I’ve noticed Vevor branding for that last few years. I’ve never seen a company with such a wide spread of products. It seems they make anything for everything lol.

I think it’s more they put their name on anything or everything. I doubt they make anything. The company is probably just offices in China with a warehouse & customer service in the USA.

I know a guy who deals with a lot from China and really high dollar amounts. He had his emails intercepted that we’re going straight to China and it was the exact same email but a period in the email so you never really noticed it. When he wired the money for the transaction, he was out $150,000. Luckily he’s a guy that can afford the loss but holy shit man it’s crazy the scams that are out there even when you think you’re a guy that won’t get scammed.

Just doing an update to my previous posts. Vevor sent the replacement tool via DHL and I received it two days ago. Overall it was a good experience and they emailed me regularly letting me know a replacement was authorized to be sent, then when the warehouse was expecting to ship, then I got a tracking #, and they also set up the DHL notifications, so DHL was sending me text alerts as the shipment progressed.

The replacement tool was packed very well in tons of bubble rap and the box was in good shape when it arrived. They even asked me to email them confirming I got the tool and to make sure I was satisfied. Overall it was a very good experience with very good communication. I’d buy again from Vevor.

I bought a big Vevor rebar bender a few years ago and it is still going strong. Was half the price of the competition and I picked it up same day directly from Vevor warehouse in LA.
