First and foremost, Thank You For Your Service!

Hope all of you enjoy a well deserved paid day off tomorrow or the day after Thanksgiving as some do.

I started this thread a day early in hopes all the Vets here would see it and post up the branch of service they served in so we can "Thank" each of them in their post.

Lastly, we Thank You every day, not just Veterans Day for the Freedom we take for granted.

Freedom is not Free!

I echo what Stainless said X1000!

I am very grateful for all of the service and dedication of those that serve in our armed forces. I cannot express how much I value and appreciate all of the dedication and efforts by those who serve our country to protect our freedoms and way of life.

I humbly thank all of you.

A big thanks to all vets that have served.

Many people don't know that Veterans Day was originally Armistice Day which celebrated the end of the First World War on November 11, 1918

Very cool docs that you have. Thanks to all that have served to protect our freedom! We presented an honor box to one of my good friends whose 19 yo brother (my friend was just 2 or 3 at the time) was KIA on Okinawa. We did that at our annual "guys trip" outing at the Kern this summer, about 25 guys and not a dry eye in sight, was very moving!

For me, my father and one uncle served 20+ years in the USAF. Another uncle died while in the USAF from meningitis that he contracted while serving at what I believe was Wheelus AFB in Libya (Reagan bombed it)...my dad and my uncle were both on bomber crews while deployed there.

I grew up on AFB's so feel a great respect for those that actually served!

A very big thank you to all who have served this great nation past and present.
Only two people have ever effectively given their life for you, Jesus Christ, and the American soldier. One died for your SINS, and the other died for your FREEDOM!!!!!

^^^^ What he said. Wouldn't be where I am today without the Navy. Thank you to all my fellow Veterans out there.
