Heading to Viva next week on a quick girls trip. We wanted to do something different than gamble so we are planning to hunt down and visit as many speakeasy’s as we can. Any favorites that should make the cut?

Ghost Donkey, Ski Lodge, Barbershop, Easy's

If you go to Barbershop, try to see The Regulators perform. @DaytonaBabe mentioned them and then we randomly stumbled upon them. They are awesome.

Also, Jason Aldean's and Ol' Red are great spots but not speakeasies.

Definitely try to see The Regulators at The Barbershop. We usually get there a bit early to get a good spot, as it will get packed, but you can also pay for a table too. They are awesome! SO much fun.

Best live entertainment in town is on Mondays only at the Bootleggers Bistro Copa room. 7:30 to 9pm. Reservations needed. 15 piece group, Santa Fe and the Fat City Horns.

We were there last month and when I payed with cash the bartender looked at the bill and complimented me on the ink being dry.

Yep, that's the one. I was looking at all the pictures and saw the line in the baseboards. Gave it a tug and it opened... Bartender has a buzzer to lock it.

Dunno if it's changed, was one of those bars ya have to know it's there. Low profile last I walked in and stumbled out. Always liked it.

Since we're a little off topic, another awesome dive bar to check out is "The Rusty Spur" it's no frills, but it's always a good time.
