It is precisely why I talk to as many Healthcare workers I know to get their direct view of their particular hospital. Only one nurse said their er has been plenty busy with cv19 which is in south orange county. She didn't exactly say they were slammed but not quiet like most others have been.

Listening to the Media, OMG it's overwhelming!! NY demanded all of the Ventilators and more beds. Trump got him the Ventilators and then Sent the Navy Ship,that is not even a Fraction of Capacity.

Damn, People is this Hurt Trump at all cost?

When I talk to people who know first hand that hospital Employees on all levels are being Laid Off, I say Who,What, Where and Why?

Of course there will be deaths that are unstoppable... Its the ones that ARE stoppable that should drive our decision making.

Certainly people in the west, with the exception of Washington state have been largely spared from bad health outcomes.

However my wife is from NY and has two friends who have lost parents to this and her brother is in the healthcare field.

As a result I have a different experience with this and can understand your view that I am drinking the kool aid.

like most things in life, views are influenced by personal experience or as the old saying goes a recession is when your neighbor loses their job, a depression is when you lose your job.

Or put another way as long as the healthcare worker losing their life is the other guy, what’s really the big deal? It’s statistically no big deal.

Washington numbers have been skewed due to nursing homes ,but you know that. In the he central part of the he state ,3 counties probably well over 200000 sq. miles and 200 or so cases, but the same bullshit regs and that Seattle has and has crippled all small business. When this is over Sunday drives thru small towns , will be thru ghost towns.
