V-Drive accessories guy from South Bay area

Does anybody remeber v the old guy that used to do all the v-drive stuff off of the 710 on Atlantic?? He used to do the turnbuckle, skid fins, and rebuild v-drives I believe he died of cancer a couple years back!!!! Thanks in advance.

I believe he is referring to Grier Rush who was on Slauson East of Atlantic ........Just off the 710 fwy ......

I know way back in 88' 89' there was a shop on Atlantic just North of Del Amo in North Long Beach, there was a injected flatty sitting in a window of a shop over there, I was 19 at the time and just started dating my wife over in VCC / Bixby Knolls and took the wrong way home one night and saw the boat, cant tell you win that shop moved but had to be early 90's

Nothing will ever bring their kids back. They are better people than I.

I would have been in prison, no doubt in my mind.
