I talked to Jim and Art at Desert Bash. RDP is going to be one of the Poker Stops in that run for them.

I got stuck on a trail that got too skinny for my Jeep in CO with my FIL this summer. Had to reverse out until a turn out and it was a total PIA.

My wife and 3 girls will be at the PC poker run in our Manx along with a few buddys in Bajas, looking forward to it!

Oh I'm thinking this would be DA Bomb! Great idea! Sounds like fun!

I've been wanting to do the Mohave trail, maybe even Barstow to Vegas!!!

I think I might need a jeep trailer for all the cervesa and ice!!!

Let's get some dates going so we can plan this out!

we were going to do Havasu to Prescott. Havasu to the Hualapies (spelling?) or maybe Parker to yuma. I'm pretty open to whatever though!

Yes. Jan 21 is the date. 250 cars are registered with a wait list already started based on the email I got last week.

This is not a stab at jeep owners in anyway shape or form. SXS and Jeeps are both fun, but they are on different playing fields in my book. SXS runs are much faster, whereas Jeeps are more about crawling.

How long of a ride is it? That sounds like it could be a good time. Do you stay the night out there and come back the next day?

We usually leave Lowes around 9ish and return by 5p since some have to get the rentals back in time. We have lunch and feed the burros in Oatmans, then return. Of course there's refreshment stops along the way. :cool

I've spent some time in the Mohave desert in a SXS. A group of us have made a 3 day trip out of it starting in Barstow spending the first night in Primm, followed by the second night in Laughlin, and back to Barstow on the third day. One of the most epic adventures I've been on. Would love to do it again.

Sounds like a good time!

Last year a group of friends and I started in Barstow and ended in Laughlin- 170 miles of dirt in 1 day. It was an awesome experience and I can't wait to do it again.
