pretty cool set up. I didn't know St. George went that far out the 18.

Team RDP should buy it. It would be a great retreat for the inmates.

Beautiful home, I'd take it. The 33k monthly nut may be bit tough to Crack though.
I did like the roundabout by the barn...turn that into a short track and have a fleet of Legends cars, and measure out the driveway off the side for an ¹/⁸th mile ;)

If you needed 18 bedrooms you’d have been cracking a lot of nuts….

I’m at a point in my life (45) I want less, not more. Maintaining that place would be a full time job, no thanks. Small square footage and huge garage is what I’m after lol

Word. We’re gonna downsize when the kids move out in a few years. 2 bedrooms and something we can lock up and leave without much maintenance so we can travel more.

We’re on the same program/vision. I wanna come home on a Friday from work and if I wanna bounce at a moments notice to Vegas or San Diego for a quick weekend getaway I want to do it without thinking about the house. Efficiency equals quality of life. Youngest is soon to bounce to college. My strategy is coming together lol

Yeah but if you own that place, you have people to maintain it for you.
But I agree with you. When we were in between houses, we lived in a 2 bdrm, 2 bath 900 sqft apartment. Took about an hour to clean and no yard work. With 2 little ones, it afforded a lot of free time. It was nice.

I went from 4200sqft to 2000sqft....then built a 2000sqft shop. I like the smaller house a lot more, and really don't miss the payment.

I have a 2200 sq ft single story on a 1/2 acre that’s fully landscaped. The landscape alone is a lot of time. Then the pool and then the house itself. I’m done for a while lol

We have a neighborhood behind us that is horse property, probably about 1 acre lots. Most don’t have horses but extra garages, plus a yard, plus the pool. I think that’d be cool to have, plan out the workshop, bbq and patio…
Then I think 9000 sqft lot I have and remember how much work that is and how much it would cost to do those things on my little lot. 😳
We just need to appreciate what we do have.

Yeaaaaaaa. . . . like farming & livestock is going to be done by some yuppie millionaire. Probably have a Llama and claim it as "livestock"

Its a tax write-off for land zoned as agriculture.

Driving down Pearblossom Highway we once stopped off at new tract homes in Adelanto advertised with 11 and 12 bedrooms. Just to see. Cheap at the time. We figured must be a big Mormon population out there.

They were designed so the walls can be modified aka "knocked out" to enlarge most the rooms if need be.

I mentioned it to an electrician I worked with and he headed out and bought one. He had 14 kids.
