On one hand, it's somewhat glorious to see all these .gov people losing their jobs....just like they've caused to happen in the private sector with all the regulations made up by bureaucrats that drive business overseas....it's almost like they never imagined they could lose their job, while it's an everyday thing in the private sector.

The other fun bonus is that they'll be able to see how much of a pain in the ass mostly useless the unemployment system that they created turned out to be.

But....at the end of the day, we'll have a whole bunch of newly unemployed worker bees who mostly just did what they were told to do, and they're gonna struggle for a while.

Trump might be getting a bit ambitious with this....I appreciate the direction he's headed....but look what it's doing? Half the shit that has been posted right here on RDP is complete bullshit.

Here's what sucks, there are regular people that had no clue what was going on above them that are losing their jobs because of the corrupt politicians that were on the take and laundering money through USAID, those are the ones I feel bad for.

While I agree that yes lot's of people will lose their jobs and yes to the one's that were deceived into thinking they were doing something good I feel for them and hope they figure it out. However, it takes a good amount of people to make an organization run corrupt for as long as a lot of them have that we are seeing and I don't feel sorry for those people. I don't feel sorry for the 25% of the federal workforce that didn't want to go back to the office instead of working remotely, they got a nice severance package and will still cry wolf.

The exposure of the spending in under a month sadly is not only unreal but expected. I've said many of time's down here that "spending" has always been the real issue especially with the Democrats and here is the proof. So many useless programs and mismanaged budgets lost on the backs of hard working tax payers.

Trump as expected really has zero fvcks to give right now for the people crying and I don't blame him one bit. I remember people telling me during his first term why isn't he really draining the swamp? My response was two parts, for one he didn't know how big the swamp is till he got into office and was able to see certain peoples true colors. Second, going all out on his first time would have hurt his chances for a second term, they already try and label him as a dictator. This time though, he's got nothing to lose but laying the path forward for J.D. Vance which I believe he's already considered.

At the end of the day, the federal government is still going to run deficits larger than even Obama, regulations keeping people from building their factory or expanding employment will still remain as they are predominantly at the state and local level, and people will wonder what happened, they were told that Trump got rid of all corruption and deficit spending including the 83 million to Chelsea Clinton.

It’s bread and circus as you point out.
