Upgrading the Boat Stereo

After blowing a speaker in the boat, I decided to upgrade the system. The current system is a Kenwood head unit and speakers. There are 2 15 inch subs, and 10 pair of 6x9's in the boat.

Just in the planning stages, and trying to select the brand of speakers and amps to go with.

What would you run?

Really? 20 6X9's?

Rockford Fosgate T1692's or T1693's.
I was at Rockford Fosgate headquarters yesterday trying to convince them to make a true marine 6X9 to match their 6.5's and 8's. :thumbup:

I called Lee today to clarify. I mis-stated. I have 4 pair of 6x9's and the 2 pair in the cabin are 6.5's.

Those are the best. Thats whats in my personal boat but I wouldnt want to buy 10 pairs of them.
The Rockfords with the poly cone and aluminum dome tweeter are better suited for a boat and are half the price.

It really comes down to budget, the amps your using, and music preference. What boat do you have?

I have a 32 Schiada. The amps i'm considering are Zapco Z150.6 to run the 6x9's and a Zapco Z2kd to push a pair of 12's
