Per sheriff, suspect killed by PD, 3 others dead, 1 in hospital, stable. They know his ID, will not release now. Campus PD detectives were on scene almost immediately, got into a shootout with assbite, put him 6' under.

I would have pissed on him about then too, but that would be unprofessional.

It's sad but true. What I don't get is the "Queers for Palestine" people. I can see the average student siting "oppression" and such...but the playbook, the Quran and their Sharia stuff, is pretty anti the rainbow coalition. Was he working at some capacity for the school already? They said rejected, but for a promotion and not a job? I'm not big on tech, and wonder if he had access to student emails and why.

That, I don't know. I can tell you that you start as an assistant professor then get promoted to "associate" professor then to "professor"
The first promotion is when you get tenure. He could've been passed up there. After that pass up you're then gone. Don't know if that's the case. I taught at UNLV and Auburn for a little. It's a good gig and fun but not great money.

My hope is the 3 deceased have peace. Tragic doesnt come close to describing this. My classroom was always fun and was considered safe. I do remember the doors were always open and people could walk in and out.

So glad your son is ok. It's tough waiting to here from them after hearing about an event like this. There was a shooting at NAU my son's first year. I remember waiting to hear from him.

I’m here in Vegas working this week.
I was on LV Blvd when 15 to 20 police vehicles went through on Tropicana heading to UNLV.
Knew something big had gone down.
Terrible what happened.
Can’t imagine what Craig and other parents were going through in those horrible minutes waiting to hear from their children. Just awful.
Had tickets to NFR tonight that has been cancelled, which makes sense.
