Nope. They may generate dirty power where you guys live, but here in NorCal the majority of energy is renewable green power generated at HydroDams, Solar, Wind Mill or with clean Natural Gas Cogens.. :D
That’s probably the funniest thing I have seen you post.

Wind Farms are good clean renewable source of power. No emissions so nothing dirty about them.;)

Ok, this I know about. Wind farms suck. First, they are the most expensive form of energy so much that they require to be subsidized by the tax payer. The utility commission requires the carrier (Edison, PG&E...) to purchase power from wind farms, the carriers only use the required minimum, so more wind mills spin off the grid than on the grid, not producing power for usage. Lastly, not that clean. Each wind mill uses about 40 gallons of oil per month. FYI, I worked them for a while.

got a question, how many step up gears are in the transmission to spin the generator? Saw some clips when the head started burning, obviously the gearbox must have been running dry?

And the oil dump pit beneath them just dumps it into the groundwater.

Wonder how they get shipped to the clean farms...must be clean semi trucks and clean blocker/chaser cars!

Good lord Forrest Gump was right!

The other big problem being discovered with them is utilities are often finding the total lifespan of the towers/blades/generators is often LESS than originally expected...... so that cheap and clean power isn't so cheap when a turbine that was expected to last 25 years piles up after 15 years.

About once a year or so there is someone who destroys or vandalizes something like this in Utah. Or just dumps the shitter from the houseboat into Powell.

The last arch to fall that I know of was Wall Arch. I was glad I got to see it in person before it fell.

LMAO! The irony of you guys having your panties all bunched up over a couple of rocks get destroyed in the desert. You're all good with fossil fuel industry namely oil and coal industry digging, fracking, spilling and contaminating our environment, yet you condemn and dismiss any type of environmental conservation measures aimed to help clean up their mess.

Yeah, ‘cause everybody knows that’s all we really do, tear shit up and shit on everything.
You convert your boat to a blowboat yet?

Drill baby drill.

You should see how they extract the rare earth minerals to build Tesla batteries. That'll turn your shit white .

43% of California’s energy comes from natural gas. That’s the largest single resource used to make electricity in CA. Where does your precious “clean natural gas” come from? Oh, that’s right, fracking and crude oil refining. Again, you are the hypocrite here.

Methane, probably the most abundant organic compound on Earth, is made of carbon and hydrogen (CH4). Natural gas deposits are often found near oil deposits. Deposits of natural gas close to the Earth's surface are usually dwarfed by nearby oil deposits.
At the rate of U.S. natural gas consumption in 2016 of about 27.5 Tcf per year, the United States has enough natural gas to last about 90 years. The actual number of years will depend on the amount of natural gas consumed each year, natural gas imports and exports, and additions to natural gas reserves.Apr 9, 2018

I don’t know if it is true, but I’ve heard it said by engineers that we burn off more NG as a waste byproduct in Prudhoe Bay in one day than our entire one day National demand.
NG is found (generally) on top of oil reserves. It’s called “coning”. In production gas fields the oil reserve is more or less of a nature that makes the oil itself non recoverable, such as embedded shales. So the gas is pocketed above the “oil” that creates the gas.

The inherent problem with Gas is that transportation is not of a profitable nature. All that NG that is flared off in large oil fields is due directly to the fact that it can not be profitably produced as compared to the primary product in that field.

Did you sell your powerboat and trade it for a wood sailboat with canvas sheets? asking for a friend... :p

Also, make sure not to use an outboard or inboard for aux kicker on the sailboat.;)

Isn’t it all part of the same hypocrisy? I see very few oil refineries in my travels but I see windmills and solar plants all over the Flippin place who’s footprint is worse? Don’t you hang from helicopters and inspect powerlines maybe I’m confusing you for someone else do you hang from an electric tesla helicopter? :D

Industry is industry, they all want to put on a clean front but as is usually the case they all have a filthy backyard.

Update: More than likely fake.

The two videos from Monday depicting the destruction of an arch and hoodoos allegedly somewhere in Utah have been reviewed by the Intermountain West Regional Computer Forensics Lab in Salt Lake City, an agency that assists law enforcement throughout the Intermountain West.It is the opinion of the lab that the videos are more than likely computer generated, and therefore, fake. Employees from the Utah Department of Natural Resources, including geologists from the Utah Geological Survey and law enforcement from the Division of Parks and Recreation have also reviewed both videos and are unable to identify the locations of these two alleged explosions. Additionally, we have received no investigative leads or information from the public.

Am glad it’s destroyed. As a binary fusion neutral poly sexual human specimen that structure reminded me of a slightly shaven pussy.
