You will NEVER get all that stuff into a 22 deck. I mean, you can get most of it in, with an outboard, but if you plan on taking multiple adults and gear out, it isn't the boat for you. We stopped bringing an EZUP out last year and have 5 kids. Now, just 2 umbrellas. We would spend so much time setting the EZ UP up and no one would sit under it. Windy weather, it was just a liability. It stays in the garage now.

It sounds like you need a bigger deck boat or a pontoon. #club22 just won't work with your program unfortunately.

I do manage to fit it all in my 21.5 skier except the fricken cooler sits right in the middle of the floor so you have to climb over it every time you go from front to back.

Old school, is any of the sponson open for storage under the front seats or are the fuel tanks in there?

Been re reading all of this and sounds like a 26 Nordic deck is what you need. Get that 520 in it. Make the minimum payments and put all the shit your heart desires in it!

In the garage crank some Tyler Childers, drink a Miller Lite, wipe it down and admire the horsepower in it.

I do like the nordic, i wish more of these had the sponson access like the nordic and the original cobra pythons

Yeah, the front sponsons are open and have quite a bit of space to store stuff, but I keep them light because I don't like the boat running wet. If you weight down the front then that is what will kill your ride and cause the spray to come over the front. I only allow 1 person on each side when riding up front and if it is choppy, put everyone in the back.

Can you still get a Carrera 257 Party Effect made up? That seems like a good balance of size vs utility and style.

@Goodtime$ covered that a couple weeks back. His buddy had that shop and is starting the carrera boats build. Todd says its legit and good to go. Family had a 257 growing up and we had no problems with friends and toys and watersports with one of those.

The Marine power LSA - bravo 1 in a Placecraft bottom will wake the dead.
We did one and it was rad as fuck
The supercharger is addicting and it will turn a bravo 28p prop

Use the 80/20 principle. 80% of the time what kind of boating are you going to be doing. 20% ignore, we are humans you can adapt.

Works best when your honest with yourself.

Im building a 19 gullwing for my family because our river House is on covid lockdown and I want to do nitrous passes

Honesty. Boats are rad

I followed the LSA bravo, I spent hours googling the LSA bravo combo, not many are trying it?
I am keeping an eye on your 266 also I like the colors and the front walk off.
That is the same as your 26 cat different top?

Tanks for the PMs, I am going to plot out where I might store things, once I do that would you mind me running it past you to see if you think things will fit?

LAST POST;

I am definitely more of a newbie lurker here that an active contributor, even so there have been numerous people who have PMd me offering to answer specific questions get dimensions on various boats even offering up test drives. THANK YOU!

The decision is made and more importantly signed off by dear wifey, the HOWARD 255/520-XR without the foot massager or heated floors:) just the basics with enough get up and go to keep me smiling/tow the kids til their arms fall off and be able to reach my cooler. Downside is last I heard howard is out until oct 2021. I guess I wait!

Thanks Again!

I just sent Gene an email to get a deposit in and when will it be done!! We will see what he comes back with. If I could get it in a year that is perfect.
I run my current boat this season, dust it off next year, sell it at peak season and take delivery!! I am guessing that is not going to work, too perfect!

Thanks for your offer!!
We may not be up at pedro this next wekend, a large group was coming out of pheonix.
The covid is picking up pretty heavy there and we may cancel. I will have an eye open for a yellow shockwave!!

Welcome to the Howard family.

Thanks, although it looks like not officially until 2022, things are looking good for Howard, I have a backlog that long but it only represent about 1/10 of the number of customers!!!

Looks like I am out for this weekend, my group will still be there, I am going to sit this one out too many people coming from to many places. I gotta steer clear of the rona! at least until I get a new boat!
