If you look on the prior threads on this.
It appears my opinion on those, are pretty much playing out today.

Shits about to get uglier for Ukraine. NATO has no plan other than Sanctions… Putin thinks its worth the price.

Ukraine isn't a part of NATO which is part of Putin's problem. He doesn't want it to become a member.

I think I have a serious personality flaw because I don't really care if Russia takes Ukraine. I try and role-play out what I might have done if I were a world leader and I think I would have sacrificed the pawn of Ukraine in a deal with Putin to back me in defense of Taiwan against China. No one really is going to let a silly Bill Clinton Treaty hold water anyway. "In your defense Ukraine we negotiated a safe and peaceful transition of power with the UK and Russia in your best interest of course." Sportin' Wood world leader.

Don't think it's a flaw at all but shear common sense. We have the White House clutching their pearls over the border between Ukraine and Russia but are totally ignoring our own southern border in a concerted effort to change/slant voting to their favor.

Not really worth WW3 for the alliance to attack a non member country now is it?

All NATO needs to do is keep handing ATGM and MANPADs to whats left of the Ukraine defense or future insurgency to make it very expensive for Vlad.

They weren't Ukraine when Russia invaded, they were independant regions and Russia is only there to keep the peace. Putin said so, seems like a trust worthy guy

And our government said the opposite and are equally trustworthy 🤣🤣🤣

Funny how after 4 years of Putin’s orange puppet in the Oval Office and ol‘ Vlad decides it’s time to invade Ukraine when “the only person who’s ever gone toe-to-toe with Putin” is president

Funny… Laff

That's funny and it's more like toe to heel. And Joe's heels aren't the only thing getting worn out.

I dont think we should go to war with Russia, however, he has taken Crimea, on path to take Ukraine. Whats going to stop him on the next country he wants to take?

Thought process…
What message does this send to China? Iran? Korea? This will cause some chain reactions for sure.

As much as I dont think war is the answer, I think NATO needs to do something more than sanctions, or the longer term impacts of doing nothing will definitely bite us in the ass. Because all non NATO members will have zero respect for NATO.

What does more mean? Blow up a few military runways? Take it a step further and take out some planes. Or should we get just get right to the point and launch Tomahawks at his positions near Ukraine…

I honestly dont truly know what I would do, if I where advising our president or NATO.

But I honestly believe something more than sanctions are required.

Putin needs a good public Pee Pee spanking, what does that mean to you? What would you advise?

Again, thats just one assholes opinion (aka me).

He’s made it pretty clear that he doesn’t want UK to be a nato ally. If we step in too hard it effectively makes them a territory under US protection.

At this point I would think the smart move would be to protect important targets and arm the Ukrainians with enough arms to push back.

Honestly the situation sucks no matter what and I believe happened because of weak leadership on our end.

Him openly declaring they are a nuclear power and there would be no winners is pretty sketchy. That’s North Korea type talk for sure.

Probably best to write out “Ukraine“.

I read that first as “United Kingdom” and was WTF???

Why go to war for a former WARSAR PACT country that was to fucking dumb to join NATO in 1995 and give up their nukes for Clinton

Putin stops at Ukraine because he sure as shit doesn't want to push into Poland because then you get WW3 and even if NATO pussied out on protecting a NATO member and violation section IV of the charter, Poland will push Vlads shit in this time around. Putin knows that and doesn't want any.

Face the facts NATO = US, the rest of Europe has no real armed forces and Canada is now using their military to oppress their own people on the path to Communist rule.
Jao is going to fuck this up epically.

Except Poland, Poland just got authorized to purchase 250 M1A1 Abrams main battle tanks to beef up their already strongest tank force in europe of NATO members. Poland is not fucking around and remembers the the Russians fucked them just as hard as the NAZIs did in 1939 and later. They didn't forgive or forget.

Polands air force consists of

order for 48 F-35 fighters not filled yet

48 F-16 block 50s and later

23 Mig 29s

That is enough to make russia think twice as the F-35s can kill silently the majority of air threats and the F-16s can pound air to ground on SAMs and then tanks.

250 Leopard II main back tanks in service now, 25 Abrams expected by spring with a total of 250.

And about 600 more main battle tanks of local made and T72 models

So we are talking a tank force of about 1100 tanks while having Stealth fighters flying cap and archer missions with drones etc.

If and when war breaks in the Ukraine. Riddle me this, is it below this administration to attack from within to obtain support from the American people like 9/11? We are all about to find out as the big war machine is back in motion.

Russia already invaded in 2014, now they are claiming even more land as theirs now. They are faking terror attacks in the newly claimed areas this morning which they will use as an excuse to invade further west.

We dont need to stir or fake shit, its on like donkey kong in the next 24-72 hours.

Worry not! Scranton's Scrapping Joe is on the job!

Any moment now Putin will realize Joe’s got his finger on the nuclear button.

EDIT:

”Where am I?” is a legitimate blocking question for a photoshoot but Joe sounds and moves like delusional idiot.

IMO if America is attacked, it will be a cyber attack by who knows? My thoughts are the electrical grids are more vulnerable then Financial Institutions. Banks have back up servers that are switched over often, which should prevent long term commerce impact. It is certainly about to get real.

What would happen if Russia, NATO, and China started blasting Satellites, with lasers, in space?

Maybe that rocket, expected to land on the “dark side of the moon” next week, is a military project….. code named “MoonRaker”. Look it up…. Wag the dog……wag the dog.

😉. 🤠

Here's my take on what might unfold. Putin is backing the Russian sympathizer population in Eastern Ukraine to set up a buffer[ I'm quite sure larger percentage compared to Ukranians there now, since the Crimea deal ] and will wait it out to see a new, friendlier Ukranian president replacing the one in charge as of now. Don't think Putin wants to take whole Ukraine, he knows that might take to a real war, rest of Europe join in. Ego or not ,he's not stupid.
When we had the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, the USA and the allies hands were tied, hence Hungary was part of the Warsaw Pact. I remember during the fights in my old country, freedom fighters pleading on radio broadcast for help against the Russians. It never came in form of weapons. Only saw Red Cross, distributing new/used clothes donated from various western countries. After the fights ended, Russian solders at various locations handing out Swiss chocolate to kids like me, standing around their armoured vehicles. Arming the Ukraine with even more lethal weaponry, would prolong fighting much longer, taking out civilians, no one wants to see.
Our uprising in 1956 was over relatively quick, still resulting loss of lives of freedom fighters, Relatively low civilian casualties, we all hunkered down in the shelters.
Still, it was a long time for Hungary to rid of Russian occupation until 1989, but daily lives and less political hardship was easing slowly, bit by bit.
Moving into Ukraine with NATO troops would be suicidal, not warranted to start WW3.

One of my memories I never forget, there was a headquarter of Russian troops near our apartment we walked over to during ceasefire. As most kids, we were admiring military related stuff, we were visiting this headquarter and befriended a Russian who invited me and my buddy to look inside his armored vehicle. He's name was Bob.🤣🤣 We went to see him again days later and was told, he was transferred, lol.
Don't forget, there were as young as 14-15 yrs old who joined the revolutionaries. One of my neighbour too, who we never seen him again, after it was all over.
