I'm pretty sure they design and build all their own stuff. I don't see any other way to get them to deal with years of abuse from renters.

I kinda think the same thing, you think with the internet we would know. I have looked a few times but couldn't find anything, I'll poke around again, it's been a few years

I have a U-haul place near me with a "factory" on the premises....I don't think they do trailers here but they do build truck bodies/boxes and assemble them on stripped chassis. Lots of U-haul stuff is in house.

There was a place down in Phoenix that "recycled" them It was sad, chopped up, and they wouldn't sell anything. I thought the runways would be great for building a Hodges type ramp truck.

I was at a fundraiser for one of my clients and a very large trucking company was there (alumni owner). Not only did they personally donate money but they got Goodyear to donate two rides on their blimp to be auctioned off as well. They went through a lot of tires.
