Hung around the office after hours recently. Field crew guys came in for some beers after busting ass. Young dumb and full of cum college kid types. The shit they were yapping about was classic. Just like when you were a 20 somethin. Only difference is the shit these chicas do nowadays.

Some cell phone pics were circulated. One of the guys laughed when I poked my head out from behind the computer screen when “pierced nipples” was mentioned.

The things the girls now do, and often with their friend involved... my god.

And these boys don’t have boats or cool cars...

If I had had a magical power, I’d rewind to 23 but in today’s generation. Just for a few hours with the flatty I had at that age. Ok, maybe a weekend with the cabin cruiser I have now... stabbin cabin!

I’m just gonna say, as a 24 year old, boats do NOT get girls anymore. Girls don’t give a damn about watercraft unless it’s a jet ski and even then that’s rare.

If you want to get the modern 20-something’s attention you have to take them out to a very fancy dinner, to the club for bottle service, etc etc. I barely got a girl to go flying with me - FLYING!!! Just she and I in a C150 flying the night skies outside downtown Dallas.

Girls my age are so stuck up or total stoners. Very unfortunate.

Hahaha, I believe it. Fortunately I was able to woo her enough by flying on the first date that she’s stuck around for 3 more years. She complains about boating 3 times a week during the summer but she’s happy on the Baker with a dog and a drink in her hand.

It's usually a series of compromises. If they like dancing you might have to bite the bullet and learn. But that way, you've gone into her world and she'll maybe be more apt to go into yours. Fancy dinners, just gotta do it every now and then. One thing I've seen is that if you have kids and they like that life, the women will usually get to like it too knowing their kids are having fun. I'm no expert, I've been hearing this lament from young men and women for a while now but I do see a lot of both having a good time in the places we all like to go. And they aren't that old, yet.

LOL...great thread. My wife of 20 years was all into the river, desert, races, etc. for the first few years, now it's "have fun see you when you get home".
