Hey @riverroyal

what do you think of your neighbors new garage?

I love tuff sheds, they are pricey. But between the features, design options, and the fact they build it onsite in a day is worth the cost. I’ve always seen the garages on their website. But this is the first time I’ve seen one in person. Saw it being built over a couple of weeks. Looks like standard construction and the finished product looks great imo.

I really want to pick the owners brain if I cross paths with him as far as cost between garage, slab, permits. Be interesting to see what it compares to metal building of same size.

Not really much help to you but got the wife a 10X12 Pro Ranch with all the bells and whistles for a little over $6,000, almost that much in electrical, insulation, drywall, flooring and a mini split and she just loves it. The Tuff Shed guys down on Maricopa were great to deal with, my salesman was Jessie Lee.

I had a tuff shed built out at my place at the river, couldn’t have been happier with the process and end result. Would seriously consider one of the garages

The only thing I'd do different with our Tuff Shed Purchase was I shoulda bought a bigger one.
Women accumulate some sentimental stuff.

In addition musician wife so it's loaded with keyboards, Amps, guitars, boxes and boxes of sheet music

I asked the the young Tuff Shed sales girl "how would you order the Tuff Shed" we were interested in and took her good advise.
They get feed back and door locations, shelving, windows,, it can be important.

We stick built a shed for a customer. Tuff shed is a bit more expensive, but not that much more. And they save time for sure.

I bought a 10x12 shed from Costco and installed it on my concrete slab. I added comp shingle roofing, outlets, and lighting. The shed came with a wood floor that I didn't use, and a workbench that I did. I also built a shelf around the upper perimeter for extra storage. With no drywall or insulation, and me and one of my guys doing the work and painting it to match the house, the total cost was about $4,000. It was pretty straightforward.
You could probably put 2 of these together, run some electrical, install a mini-split, plumb, insulate, install a few cabinets, Formica tops, a couple cheap appliances, build a couple interior walls, and have enough room for a temporary homeless shelter. for about $30-40k

It’s exactly like a gun safe. You always should buy bigger than you need.

I put a 20x30 w/ 10.5’ ceiling metal shed in my backyard. I’ve had it for 20 years now.

I’m going to some day attach this product to it.

what do I think about it......Im prob gonna get one! But RV door height. The slab on this one took a bit, the build of the structure was 2 weeks.
Mellow Yellow on here put all the pool dirt on the are near the street for this reason. We needed to flatten that area.
Once we recover from pool and landscape cost the tuff shed RV garage is next. be a year or two.

Ive never met that neighbor, only seen him 1 time in a year.

Yeah, after the deck was poured it went up fast! I know what you mean about the RV door height. I don’t know if to shed custom makes them any taller or if it’s just what they can spec out on their .
I’ve never seen him either. One of these days I’ll cross paths with him though. If you need fill dirt, let me know. I’ve got plenty on my property. Just has to be gotten from my place to yours

tuff shed does build them, apparently they will do almost anything. Thanks for the dirt offer, I will need more at some point. I was thinking about stopping at the new Albertson site and offering to have them drop some at the house.
