Not looking for a deal, just don’t want to wait two years to build a new one. They're all for sale for the right price!
Same thing goes for super clean 21' Rayson's
Yes, and also spoke about a new build. I just wanted to see if anything was out there available now.Have you called Lee at Schiada? He often knows of boats for sale before they are for sale.
Two years is what Lee said, but you never know for sure. Hopefully I can find a dime piece that someone will part with. You’ll be waiting longer than 2 years for a new one guaranteed…. LOL
I wonder how the carb motors run compared to the efi? Absolutely stunning boat, seen many a pic of it. Is is still for sale?1976 Schiada 21RC Twin Turbo 540BBC

Is this listed anywhere, or just his boat?OD1 has a 24 with a Brummett motor.. it’s a no bullshit deal. Pricey but it’s nice.
carbed engines are still running strong. I'm guessing the boat out front is injected, the other two not so much. Give Paul gooding a call. 602-679-1850I wonder how the carb motors run compared to the efi? Absolutely stunning boat, seen many a pic of it. Is is still for sale?
The big advantage of EFI would be things like cold start, and ability to tune mid range better. Also some set up dual tune ups so you can flip a switch and run more power with better fuel vs 91 octane.I wonder how the carb motors run compared to the efi? I saw it listed, just didn't get me excited. Maybe the trailer or carb motor is what turned me off?Have you taken a look at the Rex Marine Schiada? I'm heading to it's location in a few I can take any pix that you would like to see. Call Tony. 928-486-0684 He can give you info. or tell me what other pix that you might like. I'll be there in about an hour or so. I'll try to find pix of the over head trailer mounted fuel tank. It's not on the trailer today however I do have pix. Barry also has photos of the boat. I've been bouncing the idea of a twin outboard cat or a Schiada for a toy. The Schiada I can put in my wakeboard boat slip when we don't have company. I think that we would use it a lot more, plus it's what I grew up around.@pkbullet one hell of a transition. going from asking about a dw to now a schiada?? haha

I agree with your line of thinking, now I just need to find the right one. I have a line on two so far, see how they work out.If you are going to spend north of 100K ....I would not settle for anything less than made in the 2000's and EFI...there are a lot of old nice ones...but I would want to find one of those newer ones that had not raced or beaten and then restored... Gonna be around 150K to 200K...but that is the price of entry... There are some newer ones just have to find the person to part with it... I had a 2002 with 1000hp pfaff blower motors... They are fun boats... Not the fastest but its more then the speed with them...raw unbridled HP with the v-drive...

I can really see where the black trailer with them chrome doohicky things at the back could be a turn off. Maybe a fourth axle is in order.I saw it listed, just didn't get me excited. Maybe the trailer or carb motor is what turned me off?
The pics I saw were with the tank, I guess I stopped looking after that. I still think I can find the right EFI boat.I can really see where the black trailer with them chrome doohicky things at the back could be a turn off. Maybe a fourth axle is in order.
Anyway. Here's a couple of pix of the trailer fuel tank and if I happen to hear of any other Schiada's for sale that might meet your criteria, I'll post 'em up in this thread.

I'll keep my eyes open and ask a few friends that are always searching for a boat to flip or own. You never know what might pop up.The pics I saw were with the tank, I guess I stopped looking after that. I still think I can find the right EFI boat.

Thanks for the lead on the 24, it is a very nice boat.I actually liked the tank up top.. I would convert that into some Kinda shade deal for shows.
That said the boat was priced extremely high for years for what it was.. I think he went through it recently though and the price has lowered.
Maybe @Rexone can tell us more about the 300 boat.
I brought a box of 'em back from Mikes when I was last there helping him. I was supposed to hand them out at the 336 Parker Enduro but I forgot to bring 'em to the race.I’m still hoping my requested catalog shows up. It’s been 15 years since I requested it so maybe any day now?
Hey Mike...I still the bought I bought from you in 09. Still looks and runs good. Yeah I have lots of history, I owned it from a couple years after it was built until Tony got it a few years ago. From 95 to then it sat unused. It's a low hour boat and has a fresh Kincaid engine rebuild with around 15-20 hours on it right now. We ski raced it and practiced with it through the 80s to early 90s. Not a lot of hours compared to most lake used boats. EFI is certainly nice however these carbs work great. A new EFI engine as this one is equipped would cost as much as he's asking for this entire rig.Maybe @Rexone can tell us more about the 300 boat.
Nice to see you on the boards, Mike! what can you tell us about the handling, speeds, engine placement etc.?Yeah I have lots of history, I owned it from a couple years after it was built until Tony got it a few years ago. I had no idea. Sounds good though! The 300 Schiada was built by Mike King. He will have all the answers you need.
Great to hear Rick...that is a beautiful boat...perfect Schiada timeless colors, all white interior...hatch with motor subtly coming out....checked all the boxes! Oh yeah....it always started too! pfaff builds a great motor!Hey Mike...I still the bought I bought from you in 09. Still looks and runs good. Rick
Guess I need to proof read before hitting submit..............Anyway you are correct Mike about boat having timeless colors etc. Going to put some nice billet swim steps on it and stainless rub rail. Getting too old to be using plate to get in and out.Great to hear Rick...that is a beautiful boat...perfect Schiada timeless colors, all white interior...hatch with motor subtly coming out....checked all the boxes!
