Any options for a new hub in that area?

Please call James,he is at Loves 916-2245155There’s a loves in the area. If all else fails I will be in the area about 11 am tomorrow. Let me know now.
Strap that axel up and keep rollinMost hubs are universal. There’s not that many manufacturers. My son has graduation at 9 then rolling to Havasu. There is also a tractor supply in tehachipi
Worried about overheating single…it is 8ply?Strap that axel up and keep rollin
X2 on that. If it’s torsion you don’t even have to strap it. Make sure the other tires has good psi in the tireStrap that axel up and keep rollin
There’s not that many manufacturers of bearings, geez. U think extreme manufacturers their own bearings, spindles, races, fk bearing makes most of them. Next you’re gonna say all the cars make their own springs? Common on doom and gloomUniversal my ass. Yr, hub type ( mfr) etc..even if you take the number off the bearing " sometimes" the race is different.. just a fyi
Also the bearings are pretty standard bearings for 5 lug. Should be able to find them pretty easily. Get a crescent and needle nose and get the part numb
If they are not universal and you know all the dimensions, please let me know so I can help them..,,,,,,,,Universal my ass. Yr, hub type ( mfr) etc..even if you take the number off the bearing " sometimes" the race is different.. just a fyi
Paul does big rig trailers.
Strap it up air up other tire 5 psi over max and drive it under 55 to try and get to Barstow. Maybe easier to find a hub in morning.Worried about overheating single…it is 8ply?
In older days it was harder to find a bearing as they had to search it. today it’s piece of cake.certain weight axles use a bearing made for those.Universal my ass. Yr, hub type ( mfr) etc..even if you take the number off the bearing " sometimes" the race is different.. just a fyi
In havasu and leaving in morning, send parts #s rolling through tomorrow.Extreme trailer Mach26’ DCB.

We have two spare hubs and two spare tires on our 30 Eagle trailer. We learned the hard way once ourselves.Hopefully your friend can get this sorted out. Friendly reminder folks, carry the spare parts if you can.

Shadow in Havasu serviced both our Eagle trailers when we did the EoH conversion on them. That was two years ago now but I’ve had a light fixed since on mine.Bearings don't just "go out"...
They go bad due to lack of maintenance.
Most everyone knows to change the oil and impeller on their boat, but they all forget trailers NEED maintenance too.
Check and repack the wheel bearings and replace the seals...
Replace the brake fluid...
Check all the lights and wiring...
Or don't.
Odds are if the bearing and hub are wiped out, the spindle is wiped out too.
Strap that that shit up and drive it for now.
When was the last time YOU (as in everyone reading this) serviced your trailer??

Why go to Boron when you can still get 20 mules in a box?Since it only goes maybe a mile a year, and maybe 100 yards at a time...
I ain't too worried about it.
But, if I was gonna tow through Boron, you can bet your ass I'd be servicing it first!
And as for your next question...
Yes. I have strapped up an axle before.
Every time I do my impeller. And how many do a temp check at a gas stop?Bearings don't just "go out"...

I got stuck one time in the middle of the desert so I’m on top of bearing/tires maintenance. Literally doing it right now. View attachment 1234897
Yes. Temp reader on the center of the wheel. I’m standing there putting fuel in the tow vehicle it takes 30 seconds or less to check temps at each wheel and toss the temp checker back in the center console.Every time I do my impeller. And how many do a temp check at a gas stop?
I tow 3.2 miles and put all new bearing inthis year. So there.Since it only goes maybe a mile a year, and maybe 100 yards at a time...
