Two major reasons this offer will not be accepted:

1 - He has already proven he's not interested in charitable giving. His tax returns prove that.
2 - College records and passport applications would both show him to be foreign - thus disqualifying him to serve as president.

Why else would he spend so much effort keeping his records sealed?

I believe if he did release everything it would answer a lot of questions and do one of two things:

1) Offer proof that he is a fraud and the American public would continue to ignore fact and praise him in all his glory

He gave approx. 2 mill between 2009 & 2010, I don't know 2011 or the previous years. It was roughly 330k one year & 250k the next (or prior) & all of the Nobel Piece Prize money which was about 1.4M.

That's pretty funny.. I've actually typed something allong those lines on here before, but have never seen that quote.

I get that the Right likes this, but as someone that's neither, it's pretty sad to see politics taken to this level. 5M doesn't mean shit to either of those guys, the only people it means anything to is general population & that's all Trump is really speaking to. That is incorrect Dan. He signed an executive order sealing all his records immediately after the inauguration and the American taxpayers now pay to keep them sealed. Elena Kagan had the responsibility of keeping them concealed throughout the 2008 campaign and her reward for succeeding until the executive order could be put in place was a seat on the Supreme Court despite her having never sat on a bench in her life.

I hope you're are kidding? Weird? not at all. His policies for the most part do not favor business people. O is all about big government, restrictions, etc. People in business is scared as hell to invest or spend. Consumers are holding onto extra dollars like they have vices in their pockets. He is flat out arrogant towards business and capitalism in general. For O, government programs and manufactured bs jobs are the answer to most problems. Taxing the geese that lay the golden eggs has never proven to work throughout history. The geese just cut back on the eggs and the gov takes in the same or less tax, less people have jobs, and less money is spent in the economy both by businesses and consumers.

And more to the thread point, people in the public eye don't seal stuff unless there's something to hide. I suspect that is the case with this president. It will be interesting to see what history reveals about this guy down the road.

His Executive Privilage #1 doesn't necesarily block the records, it puts a 30 day moratorium on any Presidential Archives. Basically, from the date of official request to the NARA any current or past, Vice President or President has 30 days to invoke Executive Privilage over the requested documents. If there is no response the NARA will release the documents.

Seems an official request would be documented, don't know where to find them.

You guys know what I think of "O".....that having been said over the years I have found Jay to be fair and ask just about everyone who comes on his show "Softball" questions. While I think he is "Left leaning" he has never outed himself as a "Leftie" the way Letterman has and on top of tthat he is a very cool "Car Guy"....so he gets points for that with me
