Regardless of which one you vote for you will be casting your ballot for a felon. The difference is that one was convicted using laws that were written specifically for the purpose of convicting that person. The other has yet to face judgement, although I suspect that it is coming one way or another.

But it won’t. They’ll leave it to the NY State court system, in the hope that they won’t have to deal with it. Of course, this won’t work because no New York court is going to overturn it. Trump will lose the election due to these and other Dem shenanigans, and Biden (or his soon-to-be-successor) will be keeping his fingers crossed that he can appoint new Supreme Court justices before the case ever gets there. However, by then it won’t really matter.

It’s been a while since I took US government classes. But from what I remember the SC will hear cases when all other options are exhausted. However it always needs to be based upon a constitutional issue.

I listened to Mark Lavine and Berkley Professor John Yoo lay out the path for the supreme court to take this case. There is precedent and the path is not as obscure as some want us to believe, and after this abomination of a trial and attack on our judicial system they should consider saving this nation.
