Great pictures! I would have bet money they wouldn’t / “couldn’t” land the 747 there. Very cool.

I like how all the info for this said they would be providing masks and instructing people to wear them.. [emoji23]

Rasmussen: The only correct unbiased poll.
WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 28,2020

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.

“What does it mean to be biased or unbiased?”
“To be unbiased, you have to be 100% fair — you can't have a favorite, or opinions that would color your judgment. To be unbiased you don't have biases affecting you; you are impartial and would probably make a good judge. ...“

FWIW I just heard Bill Orielly say that’s this is the only poll he looks at.

So much I want to say about the event and the trip there and back. As with anything it was nothing short of an adventure.. lol

We left Havasu waaayyy late and we’re heading towards the 40 around midnight. All of a sudden the whole dash of the motorhome starts turning on and off about every 5 seconds and all the gauges are frozen right where they were when it started. (Abs light stayed on).
Pulled into loves and played pretend Diesel mechanic for about a half hour. Ultimately turned everything off and turned the breaker off on the coach batteries for a few minutes and reset everything. My confidence is lost.. we decide to head back to Havasu.

We get back to Walmart area and everything seems to be running fine so we turn around again and start heading back to the 40.. We hit the 40 about 1:00 am.. Arrive at the event around 1:30 am.. canopy out Trump flag up at 1:45 am - 2 beers in..

Noticed a line forming and decided now would be the time to Goto water and iced tea because it’s gonna be a long day..

From the time the line formed to day break that thing went on for a mile or more.. it was crazy how fast it started filling up and started growin thickness as well. Everything from people going up and down selling trump scarves and socks to people sleeping.. coffee drop offs.. insane

Was outside in the backyard cleaning the pool from the windstorms and got to watch AF1 come in for a landing. It was really low right over our house. I was surprised I didnt see and escort planes around it. We went to Home Depot in the am and saw the line for the busses. Unreal!!!!! I hope @jeepdog got some of that business in Shiver River

So the busses are supposed to arrive at I think 7:30 am? And we are getting reports that people are already at the airport.
Well as luck would have it one of the guys at the motorhome all night is a taxi driver in Laughlin so he calls his taxi buddies (thanks lucky cab!). And we decide screw the busses we will take the cabs over.
At this point Willam and Wendi and Lisa abd billy Blake show up. Cabs hold four people. So we diced to send them all in one and Alex and my kids in the other. Stacy and I stay with the guy we know that runs the cab for the second drop off.

We end up getting over there and I thought we weren’t gonna get good seats because there was people already in front of us.

As we got closer you could see the cranes with the giant flags

We got inside and the venue looked small to me I was thinking maybe 2-3k? After some math I figured floor and bleacher seats for about 6k.. that’s quick math though so it could be 7’ish because bleachers are hard to estimate..

This was us just getting in.

So I couldn’t figure out where they were going to put all the people and then I figured it out.. outside the seating area there was this giant empty spot pictured here. I had my doubts that they’d fill it, even as much as I know Mohave county is pro trump.

We watched several people speak and in my opinion Corey Janacek (yes from Havasu) sand one of the best renditions of the star spangled banner I have ever heard.

Sonny Borelli did a great job as well as Dr. Kelli Ward, Martha McSally and many others..

Air Force one was landing and everyone was awe struck. What an amazing piece of hardware!

I will say there was about a 30 minute time frame from when the plane pulled up until The president was announced. That time felt like hours.. lol.

When he came walking up I grabbed my younges and held her up so she could see, as well as my son. My daughter is too big now and honestly as tall as most short adults do I had her stand on a chair.

pics of Trumps arrival and some selfies with the man himself!

Hearing the crowds roar when he talked about the second amendment, hearing the crowds roar when he talked about America first and all the other subjects he covers.. The Energy is something rarely felt in people’s lives.

It’s unbelievable. It’s the same energy that people felt on Memorial Day during the Havasu Trump Parade is the last tile I felt it. Election night when he won.. And a few other select moments in my life when the Patriotism is in the air like electricity and you can actually “feel it.” Its so prevalent it almost makes your eyes water from pride.

I had jeff from Surfrattv take some pics from the media stage

Myself with Sonny Borelli

I don’t know......that really sounds off on the count. Not sure if they are telling the truth or they have a hidden agenda. With the number being claimed it would be hard for them to verify......I am not confident they are able to count past 10. LOL
They would have needed to take off their shoes to get past 10😆

Great story and pics Dave (except for the phuking selfies). Thanks for showing your support and sharing. What an experience to have with the kids. Mt wife had been to a rally in DC and talked about that energy you spoke of. I was planning on going but over did it the day before on one of my construction projects and worried about standing around on my jacked up knees for several hours. I have two questions. What was with the big area of empty seats? How did you do without a beer or cigarette all of that time?

Thanks to everyone who posted. This thread got my eyes watery, not only of the amazing patriotism, but because of my sister.

See.........My big sister started with the Civil Service at 16 Years old in Wichita, KS. Worked her way up thru the ranks and the last 15 years of her career, she worked on, you guessed it......AirForce1 program.

I have several momentos from her from the plane. The stories are unreal. She was a high quality control inspector. She even crawled into its gas tanks. There are actually 3 or so planes if I recall? She worked at all the Boeing facilties. Wherever the planes were painted, she would accompany them to Seattle, or Long Beach. She was the top dog! Her security clearances were the top of top. Many of times the top brass (Airforce, Military, FBI, SS) would interview me in person or on phone to renew her docs. I was so proud of her.

She got to ride up front several times! Amazing.

She was taken from us by a medical error 4 years ago on Thanksgiving. She had just retired 4 months prior, and went in for a routine Ulcer surgery. A 23 year old RN pushed the incorrect drug. We lost her at 53 years young.

RIP Sissy, we all miss you and your legacy lives in with the work you did all those years and your planes still fly and bring us all smiles and joy!

Honestly, I thought the whole thing was a joke, (President Trump in Bullhead😲) when I first clicked on this thread & saw the blow up doll in the convertible 🤣. So glad I decided to click the thread yesterday! Watched the whole thing and enjoyed every second! I’ve never heard heard our President speak at a rally, other than what the democratic press shows.
I’m guessing Pres. Trump didn’t realize that when he mentioned “Rino” that for a split second most of the audience thought he was saying Rhino🤣🤣.

My sister is also one of the leads at the ATF.....armored SUV's the whole bit. Your story also hits home, as my father just retired when he was diagnosed with Parkinson/ALS.
Sorry for your loss bud.

Also, great write up Dave! To see AF1 sitting there with, "United States of America" across the side, how can you not feel so proud to be an American!

A lightly loaded 74 is a bit of a hotrod. Operating in and out of Bullhead doesn't even have it breathing hard.

Damn cool site to see. We watched AF1 blast out of Palm Beach over spring break a couple years ago.

Just looked through all the live feeds on YouTube for Biden, there is less than 20K watching....President Trump on Fox 66K watching and on Right Side Broadcasting there are 130K watching and that's just those two networks

They were taking everyone’s lighters at the security check. It came my turn to empty my pockets and hand them my lighter, when I looked down there was a book of matches at my feet so I picked it up.. lol. Walked right in!

true story. ;).

Several other people were in there smoking (this is AZ after all). As ling as you were away from the crowd nobody really cared.. one security guy pretended to care, and quickly found out from an older vet that the juice wasn’t gonna be worth the squeeze.. lol

I believe he was hitting three spots on Saturday alone.
I gotta tell you doing public speaking is exhausting. To do one of these in a day would knock me on my ass.. this guy has been doing two to three a day for weeks. I don’t know how he does it.. crazy

So this brings me to this.. I stole this pic off Wendi’s fb.

Jesus how many people need a pic or a video. This was when Trump was walking up.

I grabbed my youngest daughter and held her up above the crowd so she could see him and then grabbed my son.

It’s pretty rare you will see me say something negative about people’s parenting skills, but I noticed as far as I could see I was the only one that held up my kids. Everyone and I mean everyone had their phones up. Kinda tripped me / bummed me out.

The other thing is when Corey sand the national anthem a lot of people didn’t take their hats off or have their hand over their hearts.. I was like wtf?
That shit makes me want to punch people. Lol. Don’t get me wrong the majority did, but patriotism and respect for the flag and the anthem aren’t punchlines or memes or talking about it.. you either live it or ya don’t.

To the recap of the rally, I got the impression this was out together pretty quick. I also got the impression A LOT MORE PEOPLE SHOWED UP than they were thinking.

They had four food trucks (technically three because one was popcorn). The lines were unbearably long and they all ran out of food in short order. They are food trucks so each one could only feed maybe 200 people? A bbq truck maybe 600 or be generous and call it a 1,000 (no way but being generous).

we were pretty hungry when we were leaving.. Alex managed to grab two hot dogs and we looked like refugees dividing them up amongst the kids and adults.. lol. And I ate more popcorn than I ever have in my life because that’s what we had..

where they did well was they had pallets and pallets of water everywhere in the event.

Bathroom lines were also very long.. (30 min plus)

To recap the event I would say if you get an opportunity to Goto a Trump rally (which I pray you will!! After he wins). I would highly recommend it!

He was awesome in person, and not just a guy reading off a teleprompter. The wind kicked up pretty good and the promoters were shaking so bad he couldn’t read them, so he said “isn’t it nice to have a president that doesn’t need these?” And made some jokes about securing them. He has a sense of humor and talked about his hair flopping in the wind and how the media had to figure out by now that it is his hair because it wouldn’t be on his head anymore if it wasn’t.. it was really entertaining and enjoyable, all that leading up to putting a hat on that I believe someone threw on stage.

The amount of patriotism that was in the air makes my eyes water even recalling it. Something that can only be described as powerful, prideful, and beautiful. Very moving.

While security was good and I am sure there was a lot more in play than I saw I was a little shocked at how close you can get to an actual sitting president and potentially pull off harm. I’m no security expert but I can think of a couple of ways pretty easily right now that if someone wanted to do something had they could have. 😳

I’m guessing that they are calculating risks with the amount of the crowd that would likely handle that if it came up? Dunno.. I’m not gonna post my thoughts on it or give anyone any ideas but I wouldn’t mind suggesting even basic pat downs on the way into the event wouldn’t be a bad idea? I have been through stricter security to get into a concert.. (yikes)

Dave, you should seriously look into getting press credentials. Pretty sure you qualify with owning this site.
I believe he was hitting three spots on Saturday alone.
I gotta tell you doing public speaking is exhausting. To do one of these in a day would knock me on my ass.. this guy has been doing two to three a day for weeks. I don’t know how he does it.. crazy

Couldn't agree more with this. I teach a few courses / classes and sometime have to teach the same class six or so times over a two week period. I'm SOFA KING OVER IT by the second week. Talking about the same thing, going over the same points. And the voice getting horse from talking so much. I really don't know how Trump does it. Fuckin' machine!

I think it’s something my kids will remember for the rest of their lives, and I know I will as well.

Seeing Air Force 1 in person was awe inspiring, and to be within 50’ of the president of the United States, I can only say I have met a lot of famous people and I have never been star struck. Something about it just really took me back.

I guess maybe it’s because it’s a president I like... scratch that love, because if it was Obama the only reason I’d want to get within 50’ of that guy is to deliver a scent of a woman speech of what I thought of him..

So to end the part of the event itself.. we have paid a lot of money to Goto various events. Some
We’re good, some were meh, one was emotional for me..

To Goto this event, for free no less, and see this man speak, and to see the crowd and the energy.. they could charged whatever they want for the ticket and I woulda paid it.

Absolutely amazing experience, and something I hope to experience again!

I hope this pic from a scissor lift I stole off fb does some justice to the crowd size!! Unbelievable

They were taking everyone’s lighters at the security check. It came my turn to empty my pockets and hand them my lighter, when I looked down there was a book of matches at my feet so I picked it up.. lol. Walked right in!

true story. ;).

Several other people were in there smoking (this is AZ after all). As ling as you were away from the crowd nobody really cared.. one security guy pretended to care, and quickly found out from an older vet that the juice wasn’t gonna be worth the squeeze.. lol

Kinda like when all the airlines had lighters banned but matches where ok.. doesn't make alot of sence but ok..lol

Problem was I flew a trip to Hawaii with my lighter, no problem, no questions asked. Two weeks later, go to return and the prick took my lighter, not just some bic, but a very expensive one my daughter had given me. To late to put in checked bags, they'd been loaded, so either give it up or not fly. I gave it up, but the SOB got a real ear full for his effort. 🤬

I saw many people holding there kids up. I too was disappointed at the amount of hats on during the national anthem. I must be in a minority, I did not care for his rendition.
