This entire notion of trying to win elections is folly, imo.
That’s effort and energy and strategizing that keeps us busy not recognizing the immediate threats. It makes us manageable.
We can’t elect our way out of this.
In other words, we are now trying to engineer a candidate and strategy that might have a chance 2 years from now to “win” a predetermined contest against what amounts to a global consortium.
There are more immediate things to address or we may not make it to 2024.
For instance, Putins still over there pissed off, and we are still supplying tens of billions to his immediate opponent. What are we the people going to do about this one thing?
Are we going to demand shutting off the faucet?
Are we going to keep at it until someone pushes the button? Or just until we doubled our current domestic debt?
“It is better by noble boldness to run the risk of being subject to half of the evils we anticipate than to remain in cowardly listlessness for fear of what might happen”
