04 with 274,000, going to see how long the pos 6.0 lasts. Now I’m just curious.

Glad that are so many like minded people here, last car payment I made was July 31st 2000 to Connell Chevrolet, we wrote them a check for my 2000 C2500 crew cab and 395,000 miles later she is still rolling. I have a new engine on a stand in my garage, when I hit that 400k I'll swap it out. Just got back from the river this weekend and she ran and pulled like a champ, I wont win any races going up hill but we get there :).

Why swap at 400k if it's still running well?

Not a truck, but an SUV…

Picked up an 06 GX470 with 127k miles. Plan on keeping it 10+ years. It should have no problems towing my current boat, or the 210 hallett I’ll pick up one of these years… View attachment 1116796
If I'm not mistaken, those have the 2UZ-FE Motors in them, same as my 2006 Tundra.
If so, that's the engine that's gone a million miles.
Standard maintenance and a timing belt change every 100K and you're set.
Kind of one of the last motors you can still do a lot of the work on yourself, w/o being a certified tech.

Yep, that’s the one. I had an 03 Sequoia before this, and it was great. I would have been good keeping it, but I decided to “spoil myself.”

My old crap, still runs daily except the Jeep. That Jeep 226K and I would drive it to New York if paid to. 😁
Ram at 288k needs a trans so towing is a no go however it was just at the river two weekends ago. I handed my son the pink for HS Graduation.
The Yukon is an 2002. 178k miles. I replaced the front seat leather. Super reliable also just leaks.
Zero desire to buy any new vehicles.

Love my ‘04 with the 8.1L. Like others have said…I don’t think I’ve ever passed a gas station without stopping to fill up 😂

Bought it from somebody on here over 10 years ago with about 60k on it. It’s got right about 90k now…30k miles and ~4k gallons later!!

I just updated the amp software in a bunch of all-new Sequoias that are headed out to the press.

It’s pretty badass…both the truck and the factory JBL system 😊

My 2007 Mega Cab gasser is at 197,000 and has needed nothing done to the powertrain other than a tail shaft seal on the trans and 2 axle seals. I bought it with a Lifetime powertrain warranty. My expectation from Day 1 was to get that next motor in about 2028.

04 with 06-08 facelift. 285k and still ticking. Hoping for 350k and will probably rebuild her we had a rough year last year with some wear items but that could have been prevented and lesson learned. I will take replacing a water pump and alternator over a 1000 a month payment.

What kind of front bumper is that?

Whenever I find myself in the mood for a new truck I drive mine threw the car wash, then open all the doors and give 'er the leaf blower treatment....like new again till next year. lol

Edit: I used to sort of take care of my stuff, but I live 6000ft from the end of the runway at Long Beach Airport...within 24 hours, shit is filthy again. I've simply given up. I'll repaint all my stuff when I move somewhere else.

Great thread. Love to see all of these well-cared for trucks. Gives me hope to keep mine for a long time. Wish mine was pre-def. Prices kept me out of that market, even 6 years ago.

I have a '15 F150 Lariat with 175k on it. I believe I'm just going to fix any mechanicals when they take a digger since the body is perfect, aluminum, and I dont need to worry about any rust here even in the salt belt.

This is by far the best truck out of the 8 that I've owned. Only issues have been door lock actuator replacements and a water pump.

My 2007 Bullitproofed F250 Purchased it in 2011 as a stocker. This is the longest I’ve ever owned a vehicle. Been wanting to down size to a newer crew cab Silverado, they want too much money for them.
