Truck rear window replacement help

I have a 3 piece power rear window in my 07 Ram.
I broke one of the stationary pieces and apparently those can't be replaced.
Looking for any info that may make the process less painful than it already is.

I bought a boat for parts and put a piece of interior through the glass loading it into my truck. Already thinking maybe I overpaid for this boat, and the process just got a little more expensive I guess. F'kn boats.

Correct, you cannot replace just the sides. The center slider you can……..Any local independent auto glass company should be able to handle this. The back seat will need to be removed to get to the motor and regulator (they will do this). Expect to pay $800-1,200 with an aftermarket part and slightly more with a mopar part.

Easy job, just time consuming.

I have an 06 ram. Driver side rear got shattered. The whole window and motor need to be replaced. Needs to be removed by someone with experience or the cab can be damaged.

Thanks for that video. That is definitely not something I want to try to tackle. I found a place close to home that had a price that was pretty in line with everything I could find online. And believe it or not, they actually had one in stock. Christmas and rain coming in the next week. Perfect death blow to my wallet.

I broke a window on my 97 dodge and bought a piece of smoked plexiglass from MGM plastic in San Marcos and cut it down until I could get in the rubber molding and added a little black silicone in a corner that had a small gap been that way for ten years and because MGM has a lot of Choices for smoked shades it is hard to tell it’s not original I think total cost less than 50$
