Boat has such nice lines. Its going to have dry out a lot more then what is shown in those photos to be fast. Compare the picture of the Argo to it (#84). We have a 20 LCB with a 450 and until it drys out, you just don't see the mph.

Performance Powerboats has their 28 "no center pod" running really well with single 450 in testing. This market segment is showing some cool options. I really want to see the results with twin 300s and the open tunnel version. It appears that the spray rails are fairly dry in the pictures posted-hope it has the compression to carry without the pod. Has anyone seen the running surface or know if the strakes are staggered?

I don’t remember they guys names, but there were some twin brothers back in the day at bbsp that both had setups like that, one went nitrous and I wanna say the chatter was 135mph. 😮
The mannion brothers yea !
I was in bretts boat at 118 and pulling coming into the lake singing like close to 9k with 4 people and a big cooler . That boat ran into the 130s for sure .

That is one sexy ass boat for sure .. i too would go with a single reliable 300r and i bet you can squeak out 110 . Those motors have more torque than a xs to spin a bigger wheel .

17mph gain would be incredible, hope they can, but seems like a LOT. I've heard they are great people & definitely cheering for them

No way it’s gonna put up those kinda numbers.. the new motors are a lot heavier. 110-115 is my guess.
Rd's right......My 22 Talon With a 400 ,29 Max 5 prop , will run 100MPH but takes almost 3 minutes to get there ! Gets to 85MPH real quick. Then you start
jacking not to loose to much water pressure. Hit a few wakes and you dont get the motor down Sucks air, loose water pressure and goes into limp
mode. Not that easy to go 115 !

The boat looks better from this angle. Its aired up pretty well but you can still see the last 18 to 24 inches of spray rail are getting hit pretty hard. To run 100 with that size boat and single 300R is good. Passengers are going to kill it with a single but man it looks sharp and should be a great all around package.

Definitely looks a little more aired out for sure . Yea i get that those motors are heavier but they are also torquer plus a bigger tunnel to collect more air . I would like to know what props they tried on day two . Because that bravo prop on day one was not gonna get u a big #

The Warlock 25 STX ran 85-90 mph with two 2.5 outboards. I think the Cougar 23 MTR was close. There was a 23 MTR wth twin 300's that ran 90.
I would try a 6.2 supercharged single on this 23 Trick.
Just found this thread. I had a 23 Cougar with twin 200 ROS that ran right at 100. It was a go cart on the water as long as it was smooth.
This boat is dead sexy

The boat looks great, but why all the slow-mo video? Makes no sense, it's a fast boat show that thing rippin at full speed.

Congrats on 101. Looks very flat, stable & wonderful. Is there any hop/porpoise? Have you run it thru any real wind chop? How tall is driver & wind protection? How does it get on plane? What's a happy cruise speed with 4 people & plenty of fuel?
Looks fantastic

Gives a really good idea of how the boat rides and its set-up. I love the angle with the camera just above the water line.
Do you have transom water pick-ups on that? Doesnt look like the torpedo is low enough to pick-up any water really.

No, it's 100% stock. The water pickup is pretty low on the sportmaster. We consistently run 12 psi...

With the clever it planes slowly. With the MAX5 it's gets up really quick. We've run full fuel loads but not with 4 people. The last video we shot was full fuel load and 1 guy cruising at 85...

Well it must be WAY lower than I was thinking then. lol! That is the definition of surfacing elevation.

The first twin outboard 23 MTR was shipped to Havasu around 1997..think dave Bush racing...white/yellow had 2.5s 260ish HP.Hotboat mag tested it at buck fourteen

118 mph. Merc Max5 33s on the limiter. Full fuel load, 1 person
It handles the weight of two motors really well for a 23’ boat.

Are you going to try different props or are you content with 118?

Great looking boats and awesome to see the drive of this team. Great market for the guy's "Like Me" that can't afford all these other performance cats. Keep them coming and they should be able to jump into the LOTO Shootout and grab some record's if I am not mistaken

I really like this boat. What motor packages are the next few going to have? Is anyone going with a rear bench?

I'm trying to see how high the seats are off the floor including the bottom seat cushion.

Looks low, 6-8”. How is it driving a boat like this with your legs flat out in front of you?
Ours is maybe 6" up in the Mach 22. Their pictures make it seem as if you're sitting on the floor.
