Transmission fluid type??

What transmission fluid is used in an Art Carr built, Turbo 400 trans? Any info is appreciated.

im pretty sure im using Lucas "sure shift"...from what i remember.

Been using nothing but Mobil 1 Synthetic AT Fluid
forever. I do 3-4 changes annually (3.5 qts. though the dipstick) depending upon usage and will not consider anything else. Last I looked you can't buy in in California (O'Reillys, Auto Zone etc) any more however it's on the internet and it CAN be shipped to CA. Hope it helps

I use the Mobil 1 ATF in my Art Carr T400 as well

Steve Sharp "transmission builder" says to run Pennsoil Type F. This guy has been building T-400s for boats a long time. He knows his stuff.
