Can trailer wheel spacers be easily had out there? My wheels and tires would look way better on the trailer if they out 1" further. The fenders now look dumb being wider than the tires by a significant amount. I guess I would be looking at needing longer wheel studs as well?

Probably be cheaper and easier to go to wheels with a wider outside offset.

1" spacer is pretty thick. Don't think that will be an off the shelf part. Spacers get a bad reputation, but a quality billet spacer installed with longer studs wouldnt scare me after a few good lug nut retorques after intial install. Are the fender bolted on? Might be easier to move fenders in if you have the room. Few hours and a drill would do it.

They also make wheel adaptors that are in the thickness you are looking for. Personally not a fan of those .

I think you would be fine with them on your Daytona Trailer. This type is all over Amazon and eBay.

Are your Fenders bolted or welded to the Trailer? If they are bolted, why not just re-drill the mounting holes to make the Fender flush with the outside of the Tires. If they are welded its a PITA and not worth it.

Welded, wish they were bolted so I could swap them out for stainless. It's a pretty nice trailer for an 88, all the welds are smoothed, flush lights, etc.

^^ those will work fine for you walt. spacers do have a bad rap, but the weight of your boat and the distance you tow it they shouldnt be an issue at all.

i dont recall how close your fenders are to the hull, but mine id like my fenders moved out a little bit as the boat rubs on the carpet panels behind them.

That's not good, maybe you can go with thinner wood?
