I want to go with Discount Tire and Goodyear $875................just for the hellofit I looked at COSTCO ...Greeenball (never heard of them)...4 tires shipped $320.............that's a huge difference...anyone use them?

For once a year greenball are fine. They have been around for years and I have ran them on many trailers. My only trailer blowouts I have ever had were Carlisle and Goodyear

Maxx 6 ply, eight ply rating for tires are outstanding too in the heat. I never had one below in 20 years of use.

I had the HT326 on a triple Ellis for many years. 1 trip from Fresno to Parker a year and a lot of windy mountain towing. They did the trick, but had 1 tread start to tear on a river trip last year so swapped them all out to Vision VS690.

Order mine from Walmart.com, free shipping, and have a local shop install. Dollars ahead.

Never cheap out on tires. Especially if it's a single axle trailer.
The goodyear endurance will last 5 times longer than green balls.
So you will save money and have piece of mind.

That's just me though. My toon trailer has goodyears, did that before a powell trip.
My SxS trailer is tandem axles with some shit brand. I carry a spare, sometimes 2 depending on where we ard going.
They will do another season and I will change then due to being 3 years old, not milage.

Also, everyone says wtf, but tell discount to balance them. It will also help with blow outs and life span.

Discount Tire will price match , then if there’s a problem, they won’t ping - ping you back to Walmart, just a thought

I have goodyear endurance on my boat trailer. They are 4 years old and just made a cross country ride. They still look great.

I run 14 ply steel on all my trailers.
Cheap O Westlakes on the flat bed and other light trailers, Costly Coopers on the Toy Hauler.

Priced out of the Goodyear 14 ply steel. It almost tripled in price 8 years ago.
Nice tire if you can afford them, last a long time you can even re-grove them, but the Westlake 14 ply are $225.00 + $12 mounting, the Good Year 14 ply were $660.00 each. with all the competition maybe that price has come down a bit:

LT235/85R16 Goodyear G614 RST All Season 14 Ply G Load Tire 235 85 16

In just a few months we have several thousand miles on our Toy Hauler so the tire budget we watch closely. We use a lot of them.

I run PRIN tires on my little flat bed trailer. They work great never had a problem they are super cheap last I looked like 70 dollars. I replace them every other year. Trailer gets used maybe 5 times a year. On my toy hauler I have been running the Hercules HD tire. Been super happy with them have a stiff side wall and heavy tread design. Pretty decently priced compared to the goodyears.

Good way to roll. Otherwise when you are changing that tire on the side of a frying pan hot highway you'll wish you did.

Was told Goodyear Endurance out of stock pretty much everywhere in 225/75/15
just had a blow out bringing the car trailer home. Tires look perfect but 2017 date code, so throw them all away…..the spares still had the paper tag on them. Went to 12 ply.

I had Westlake 14 ply steel on the last Toy Hauler and talking to others we thought them good and the price was right. No one had an issue. Buy them thru Walmart online delivered to the house or shop,, and for $12 their Auto center will balance and install them.
Went thru 3 sets. They are heavy MF'ers.

Trying highly rated Coopers 14 ply steel now.

A blow out on a Toy Hauler means body and sometimes mechanical slide out damage which means 6 months to get it fixed from our experiences.
Season over.
