I have decided to try to sell my current 4-place snowmobile trailer that I have for hauling my winter toys around in hopes of replacing it with an enclosed, in-line version. I'm getting tired of spending several hundred dollars on the fancy canvas covers for the sleds, just to keep the salt off the sleds.

My question to those that have sleds primarily, but most of you guys have the other toy trailers too, what brands tend to hold up best and are the best value?

Locally, the Legend explorer series is the most common among those that I ride with. They aren't the cheapest, and for good reason, and hold up really well. But, a 7 x 23 in line with a few bells and whistles running near $13K seems a bit much. I know you get what you pay for, and I want it to hold up, but other brands can be anywhere from $8500-$10500.

I'm talking drive on-drive off with service and fuel doors as well as helmet cabinet and larger upgrade on wheels that holds two or three sleds so nothing extra fancy.

Heated floors with a toilet also?:)

I’d take a look at ATC, anything steel will rust and even more so because you use them during salt season. I’ve never owned one (ATC) but thought it looked like a good trailer, also have no idea how much they cost.

I know the Neo pulls nice, went and picked up an ‘87 V-Max for a friend with another friend’s trailer and it pulled fine from Wautoma to Nekoosa and back with my Denali.

Thanks guys. I know the legend holds up well, but expensive. I also know stealth trailers are a lot cheaper, but I hear horror stories about the structural integrity especially around the rear ramp door frame. I don’t want something I have to repair regularly either.

I’ve heard the axles they put underneath some of them are junk as well.
There’s no way a trailer manufacturer would put junk axles under a trailer:)

Guess I’m more interested in updating my trailer than I thought. Had put my open 4 place up for sale on Facebook marketplace and Craigslist last week with very little interest, and late yesterday got a text from a guy showing interest. Cash money talks and he now owns a new to him trailer. Now I gotta get serious and find what I want.

Mine is nothing special, a 16 foot cargo mate I believe ,drive on and off with fuel door and furnace . I think I gave 5500 for it a few years ago and it tows great and has been good for me. It fits 3 longtracks with no problem.
