Your 300 is gorgeous. IMO they are the nicest Hallett. Love the size of Dave’s, but the lines of the 300 are far superior. The windshield ruins the 335 for me.

I appreciate the compliment. Occasionally I think about putting it up for sale. I’m just not sure what I’d replace it with. It does everything well.

I agree. The factory windshield on the 335 is horrendous. I’d have a new one built. But I think it’s handling characteristics are much better than the 300. It would be fun to build one with more power than my current set up. The 300 is to perfect to mess with. It doesn’t need more power, the 525’s are perfect for that boat.

Towed a boat home from CO Springs and stayed in Albuquerque.

Knowing Albuquerque, I opted for a bed and breakfast in Corrales - just north and rural. Super nice area, walled in acre lot, pulled the boat in and went to bed.

Hit a killer storm off I25 with downpours and hail, 3 minutes before it hit I exited to a big gas station. People just watched for 10 minutes as I tried to put the cover on in 30 mph wind.

Lol I went to Punta Gorda to pick up a boat during the great covid diesel crisis. I put $1100 of fuel in my truck in one day on the way home.

Towing with full cover WILL damage the gel, it will show a dull mark from all the wind buffeting the cover, just use it at night, and the cockpit..If u can find it.
