So here’s the quick jetski tow line I came up with on the cheap, seeing this is a one shot deal.

1/2” dock line, 650 working load with plastic dipped 2000 lb Clevis hooks on each end. I had some left over rubber snubbers so I put one on the Jetski end to reduce any sudden shock pull (I already had them, why not use them). With a pool floaty on each end the whole mess floats. The left side goes to houseboat, the right side to the ski. I made 2, one 35’ and one 55’ long

Thanks for all the input. The little ratchet clamp deal is for the water intake hose on the ski. Pretty solid clamp and fits in the top of the ski cooler.

Towing is not much of an issue. lots of good info in previous posts. We always beach the skis and tie them to a sand spike at night. Also never have anything anchored within the radius of the houseboat. In the off chance that an anchor line snaps on the houseboat during a storm it will wipe out a boat a jet ski as it swings toward the beach. Use 4 anchor lines on the houseboat and on at least two i recommend using large anchors buried in the sand vs rebar stakes.

We daisy chain from time to time. Just no sudden stops, Lol!

And we get to play games as well. Jump in the water, float to the last boat in line , climb up and try to work your way back the houseboat. (We chug really slowly). That final swim from first boat to houseboat is a challenge!
