Hey guys my boat is stored in Parker, I'm looking at getting a tow cover made or my current cover modified to be a tow cover. Is their anybody you recommend in either Parker first and if not havasu. I'm located in Upland so A1 and custom canvas are right in town, but I wasn't planning on bringing my boat home unless there isn't anybody good out in Parker or havasu. Let me know thanks

Best way w/tow cover...also have them make you a "soft cover" for it to put under the canvas over...

I went through Custom Canvas in Montclair. Not the cheapest, but they did an excellent job and they repaired my old cover and I never even asked them too.

I have never understood the tow cover purpose. For you guys that have them, is it for towing in inclement weather? It road grime protectant?

Keeps road grime from getting in, but I don't use it for that purpose much. I moved to an area where I am minutes away from 3 awesome lakes. No more driving hours just to get out on the water.

seams and dreams in LHC
Kristin made a tow cover for our Howard sport deck out of 2-sided sunbrella (soft material onside) with 14 ea. 1 1/2" tie downs, covers entire boat down to chine, with individual padding
at all straps contacting hull.
why? Tow a long trip, get caught in thunder storm, stop go traffic for hours, fresh rain road oil and sand, gravel etc., oh yeah.... white interior never white again.
absolutely great workmanship and service.

I always bring my cover and put it on at night if I'm staying in Laughlin casinos, and last thunderstorm it was nice to have it on. Boat still got wet inside but nothing too bad.

Same thing here.I don't tow with it but always bring it just in case of a storm.

Haha so a lot of people have tow covers but nobody actually uses them while towing? What's the reason? Scratching the gel coat??

Towed the Ole F26 from San Diego to Lake Shasta one morning. Left Early am, foggy for the first few hours. The white interior was THRASHED. Atleast 4 hour clean up, was a mess. Love to have a nice tow cover for the new ride !
