At night, she didn't notice the lights 20ft behind her swerve and tip? BS, she knew it was bad then, but still drove on. Then no remorse for those that died it seems?

She said she was in a passing lane…..

There was way too much traffic to pass in that video !

Question is -
What should be done to her?

Jail
Loss of driving privileges
Held upside down by the ankles and split in 2 by Garth …

There is know way she didn't know that she ran them off the road that night. It is completely ridiculous to claim otherwise.

I do believe there can be felony charges for reckless driving especially when there is great bodily harm or death involved. I think it would also be an easy one to get her of fleeing an accident. Headlights rolling that close behind you is obvious.

I had the same type of pass on highway 50 just two weeks ago. A stupid girl in her subaru did the same thing to me in my RV. The difference is I didn't choose to go off road. We were suddenly 3 wide on a two lane road with me just over the white line, the oncoming car the same and her stupid self spitting the center.

I truly wish you could submit dash cam footage of these incidents and they could be prosecuted. I was literally a couple inches from killing her. The difference is I was not going to roll my family down into the bottom of the canyon for her stupidity. The freightliner and 30,000 lbs will deal with her little subaru. Sorry but if I have to choose, I will choose my family and me over her when she chose to put everyone in that situation.

Crucify her!

I've been around anhydrous ammonia for too many years.
Seriously potent fumes.
Godspeed to the victims.

I assume it's transported as a liquid? Driving a tanker is a weird feeling, baffled or not. At speed, dropping a tire off the pavement starts everything in motion, and sideways inertia is scary as hell.

Yeah, bulk liquid.
Pops had chemical tankers, and delivered fresh ammonia and picked up the spent ammonia, mostly for printed circuit board shops.
I also handled copper sulfate at a lot plating shops for years.
Ammonia was delivered quite regularly. I knew to be up wind from that bulk truck.

I used to have a truck leased to Cal Ammonia Transport in Cali. Didn’t haul anhydrous but a lot of times ammonia nitrate 20% solution. Going over the scales one before the Grapevine, the guy inside told me to stop. We usually just slowed rolled but apparently this guy was new. Well I stopped but can feel the liquid moving so kept my foot on the brake waiting until it quit. He tells me on the outside speaker to get off the brakes. Guess what? The truck rolls forward. Back up comes over the speaker. I back up, same conversation, get off the brakes. 3 more times, same scenario. I pull the brake, walk inside and say “ do you not realize that’s a liquid tanker? When I feel it quit I will get off the brakes. The senior guy is standing there trying to not laugh. Anhydrous is no joke. RIP to the deceased.

The passengers?

Wouldn't they be accessories to the crime? Her mother and her brother?

I'm of the mindset there is no Possible way they All didn't know, and they left the scene of a crime.

Just my 2 cents is all.

That is a slippery slope to say the least

Possibly. But I feel it's past time for parents to Actually be held responsible for their kids actions.

Especially if they are part of their actions!!!

That's not a slope, it's a cliff.

The driver absolutely needs to be charged with something but proving the passengers had any liability or were complicit would be virtually impossible.

Maybe?

The daughter was driving the mom to see her boyfriend. 🙄

Would anyone besides me, like to see the phone records of all three people in the car for that night?

I believe it was multiple days before law enforcement was able to talk to the driver so hopefully they will be able to review any communication she had after the accident.

She will absolutely face some type of charges.

Jesus do you have any concept of our constitution? You want to see the phone records of the passengers?

WTF?

The driver said her mom was upset by the move at the time. That means she knew something then. If they then discussed anything about how to handle it, then mom is an accessory in some way and could possible be charged. I didn't see the brother's age listed, he could be a lot younger even, maybe even sleeping.

I would think, if you are responsible for multiple deaths, you Should be thoroughly investigated?

Or do you feel, "oops, my bad", should be the extent of the investigation?

🤷‍♂️
