I guess the Navy does cool things sometimes...
Can’t wait for this to come out though.

Hell of a memory. I had to look it up!
Don’t forget Thunderheart, Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang and Salton Sea.Funny you say this; because I agree 100%
* The Doors
* Tombstone
*The Saint
* Heat
and more.
All required real acting; not just being yourself. He is awesome.
Isn’t he to old to be still flying in the Navy?
And the spaceman helmet???

Lol....I thought I was the only one to think it will probably be as corny and gay as the first one. I never understood the hype.Its a MUST skip for me

Weird. Kelly McGillis didn't get a call.
Sounds like Charlie had to lay off the Hemlock...

Yeah, same here. When you’ve actually worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier do you realize how corny and dramatized that movie was.
Been rewatching this and laughing like a kid from nostalgia and the utter coolness of these shots- the turkey feather and carrier launch scene being simply awesome.
Limited CGI - real planes have a look that can't be matched by models.
This is my day job.
Claudio Miranda is using our FS/HDR product on these shots and in doing so changing production workflow along Muti rez, bit depth and dynamic range simultaneous masters from a single shot.
Try the under the wire sleeper, Salton Sea. The movie is twisted beyond belief and Kilmer is outstanding. Crazy ass movie.Funny you say this; because I agree 100%

Is it me or does it look like Gooses “son” will be in it?

"Love letter to aviation"? I'm IN! I'd go see this just for the cinematography alone. The actors don't even need to say anything. LOLThe roll away shot in the front is epic - as is the afterburner pull away shot that starts at 2:20
Check it out
It's gonna be hard to match the original. I'm gonna go see it and hope for the best! Hard not to enjoy watching fighter jets blow shit up in surround sound.
yes it is his own plane.I wonder if that's tom's p51 he owns 2
Did you guys catch the final shot in trailer 2 - Is that supposed to be an SR-72? / Aurora?
