I'm looking for Malcolm to have a BIG day. If not, I'm giving up on him entirely. I really want to see Eli and KR finish in front of Jett. The kid needs to pay some dues and not just holeshot. I want to see what he can do mid pack a few times.

Tonight’s conditions are going to create another wide open race for anyone to win. Hole shot will be a bonus, but not a guaranteed win as Daytona is a sort of hybrid type track and with its size and muddy conditions each lap is going to be different than the previous. I’m pulling for ET3

I don't think so. I think tomac is cruising on easy street. I would guess webb or jett

Here’s my guesses for tonight.
Im kind of on the Lawrence’s band for awhile now.
Just like the kid.
Deegan. Has a swagger about him. But not like a Gibbs (nascar) spoiledness. Jmho
Malcom hasn’t impressed much so far.

What would you have said up there a month after your 18th birthday?
Probably something along the lines of mixing gas and slapping ass is what I do best 🤷‍♂️ I can without a doubt say it wouldn’t have been welcome to the danger zone though 😂😂

Probably would have said something similar, I think most of would have at that age.

One a side note I would have thanked the troops as it was a night to honor our Military.

That track sucked. Boring to watch, difficult to pass on, extremely tough to ride everywhere. Watching Vaile win his first one was awesome, the guy was so pumped. Jett showed a lot of composure from the very start, and speed throughout the night. Kenny had nothing for the leaders tonight, that was disappointing. Malcolm very quietly worked his way up to a solid finish. Finally.
None of my picks in the pool worked out at all this week.

I was there for it last night, huge crowds. The real action was all the bikers pulling out after the race. Had I known I would have sturdy’d up a Cornhole Ramp for them.☠️

I didn’t hear it, just asked my son if he heard it. He didn’t hear it either, the place was Packed though. Bike week is gonna be Nuts here for sure. On the news they said it drew a half million people last year.

Are you going to the flat track race? I’ve never been but it’s usually a great race.

It’s nine AM right now and raining pretty good. Probably going to head back to Tampa where my Son lives

I'm kinda done with all of the mud races myself. These open stadiums and outdoor events +weather doesn't really show the best riders. Yes they will generally gravitate to the top but luck is a greater factor in these races. I was pulling for Tomac, but his ride was really smoking especially every time he came down from a jump. His team thought clutch, but he never noticed it. Jett is the real deal and I think it's going to be like Villipoto and Carmichael and dominate for some years. I just hope he doesn't turn out like Stewart and talk shit all the time. Bring back The Dung.....lol

Tomac is coming back from a major injury. Even though he's young. He's on the older side for that type of injury and come back.

I start with that only to say. He's getting better every race. I still think he's the guy to beat. Jett is fast no doubt. But I think, tomac back in full form with a bike that's not smoking. Is gonna find Jett and hunt him down. Last night was a glimpse. It's coming. He's still got a some left in the tank.

Tomac can find incredible speed. Some of those far, to mid, pack charges he's done are absolutely insane. When that tomac shows up. Jett is gonna get humbled. But I do think, Jett is without question the next of the greats.

Tomac looked good, but Jett is just faster than anyone else, even slightly banged up, same goes for 250's, no one has deegans pace, best they can hope for is his shitty starts gets him in trouble so someone else can win.

Eli local boy here in Cortez. Never met him but most of my family is friends with him. I guess you could say we don’t run in the same circles.

I’m here all week.

Not sure anyone has the same speed that Jett seems to have.

That Deegan kid is beginning to grow on me. He was much more humble in his remarks after moto 1 than usual. He isn't just winning, he is dominating. Even from behind he just rides on another level.

EDIT: Another good post race interview. Even gives a shout out to good ole Elsinore in the summer. 😅

Needs to move up. I know he is young. But this hurts the 250 class in my opinion.
More respect if he finished 5th in 450 than 10 second wins in 250.
It's not too soon. He will smoke 90% of the 450 field right now on a 250

I've been into racing for 40 plus years.
I've known racers, pros, icons etc.
On occasion a kid comes along like deegan. I will admit, not a fan a year ago. No issues with money, Dad raced, blah blah. His cockiness was annoying in the beginning. He hadn't proved anything
Now he is less arrogant and very fast. There's a non forced flow and track reading skill that looks like he is much older.
The kid has it...I'm still not a huge fan of him on the microphone. But watching him ride I am.
He will be the number 1 guy on a 450. Won't be long
