Guy nearby, in Dewey, holds a Bonneville record in gas modified roadster something. He made a V8 out of two liter bike motors...really cool! That car is in Speedway's museum now. Last I heard, he was building a V4 based on an Ls engine....going into a modified coupe, chopped and stretched Fiat 500! Brilliant machinist and overall brain. His daughter works for DARPA

Half an LS would be interesting, the half a SBC V4's (Wilson V4) were bad ass little engines, they ran the shit out of them in sandrails

I so want one those for my model a pick up. Polished stainless firewall and it will look like a v8 but I can put the firewall back where it belongs so I can fit in it.

I've only seen one at Big Terry's, Rocco was freshening it up for a sand rail, I can't remember if it was a 2 seater dune runner of a sand drag rail but it was a cool little piece.

I'd seen those in SCAT configured ones, and talked about that with the guy. He mentioned something about harmonics and vibration he didn't care for. I think he ran one in a midget? Haven't seen him in a piece, been a home body for quite a bit and not doing the car stuff.
