Wow, have the prices gone up on tires. I called a few shops today looking for some 185/75/14 tires for my trailer and was getting quoted $350-385 for four. I bought some 17" tires for my daily driver recently and they were only $600. Seems when you factor in the size the 14" ones should be less.

14 15 and even 16 inch tires are going way up due to lacy of demand nowadays?.. try buying 13's(like i have) couple lack of demand with low availability and you have sky high prices??.. Go see either Andy(owner) orChris ant MY Tire Store by AV rentals on Railroad and tell them RC sent you(from tuckers). Or go see Jason (owner) at My Tire Store2 on Reuther behind Accurate trailers. and tell them I sent you?. They should be able to set you up. You could always go to Big Johns, but you will pay more. I use all three depending who is working and availability

With trailer tires you get what you pay for . My last set lasted 2.5 years on my toy hauler before all the tread pealed off . This time I bought Max is trailer tires . Supposedly they are high quality

I had one of those repaired the other day on a dump truck, they are seven years old. Have about 20,000 miles and look nearly new but are weather checking on the sides. Guy says heavy truck tire shops won't even buy a Michelin casing for a retread as they all do that. Just thought that was a interesting take on Michelins. Maybe not worth the premium price on a motorhome that doesn't see many miles each year.

Not sure about the brand, but make sure you get E rated sidewalls for your trailer.
