I bought an old race car, a 1964 Ford Thunderbolt. For those that don't know what that is, here is a description.

The Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt is a limited production, factory experimental, drag racing version of the Ford Fairlane produced during the 1964 model year only. A total of 100 units were produced; forty-nine 4-speeds and fifty-one automatics, enough to secure the 1964 NHRA Super Stock championship for Ford.
Engine: 427 cu in (7.0 L) Ford FE V8.

This car hadn't been driven or raced for 18-20 years.
I had Jim and his team at Bones Fab go through the car, clean it up and make it street legal (Barely) .
They did a great job and it is a lot of fun to drive on the street. It definately is the hit of the car shows as well.
Thank you Jim and team.

Ford Porn to the highest degree! I've seen a bunch of kockoffs, "tribute" cars they call them today, but only a handful of the real deals. Honestly, I don't think I've seen one on a street, just car shows and collections.
That rumble should turn heads everywhere 🥰

@bonesfab ? He works on cars? I thought he was a marriage counselor…….he is sure an expert on women….
You have me confused with someone else. Cars I can work non because logic and common sense work usually. Women? I am fucking clueless with. Ain’t got a clue on how those emotionally unstable things operate.

" I Think of a man and take away all reason and accountability."

One of my favorite movie lines.

Years ago I owned a 64 Fairlane 500 Sports Coupe K car. Car hauled ass!!! I can only imagine a 427 in the same car. Crazy! One of the few cars I regret selling.
LOve your Bolt. Hold on to it and enjoy it.

My best friends father once told us (1968??) that God only gave man enough blood to use one head at a time.🤣
