I forgot about Larry’s! Ate there often, back when they still had air raid speakers up on a telephone pole I was VERY young and always asked what they were.
My sisters cannot remember the name of the liquor store but did remind me that the grandmother of my sisters best friend owned it, name was McNallis(sp). Fun memories!

I can't even look at Southern Comfort without getting nauseous after a new years eve drunk fest back in '74.

I wonder if he's affected in a similar way.

I know a bit about the San Gabriel's....

Gordon Rowley, who has been involved with out Boy Scout Troop for something like 40 years, worked for the forest service back in the day and has told me some Amazing stories.

He also gave me a couple of notebooks Full of info he has collected. They is some awesome history about the founding of the SGV and the mountains above it.

I'm blessed to be friends with the guy.
