It's my opinion that Obama is an American? Only in the world of a few political forum locals, Tommy.

Stay angry. :thumbsup

Huh??
If you're going stick to diversion, at least TRY to make it relevant to the conversation.

Please list the tax increases Obama had imposed by 2010.

Crony capitalism? Example please.

So you're not a Republican but you will only vote Republican or, possibly, independent if that independent is a former Republican?

One of us knows you are a Republican. It''s odd that it's not you.

By the way, I've always liked Perot. He was a lunatic, also. Kind of like Ron Paul. ... but also my kind of lunatic. :thumbsup

That's a lot of typing just to call the guy a liar.

Good God Brown, you're starting to occupy the void, formally known as Squeegee.

I could do this for days Socrates. NEWS FLASH LIBTARDS, GREEN ENERGY TECHNOLOGY ISN'T READY FOR YOUR BELOVED UTOPIA. STOP WASTING OUR MONEY ON YOUR KICKBACKS!

It's more than a little disheartening when the chief executive officer of one of America's most storied Fortune 500 corporations is "comfortable" with the fact that his company created a mere 10 jobs with a $25 million grant under President Obama's economic stimulus program in 2010. The CEO in question is Honeywell's David Cote, and the stimulus grant involved came from the Department of Energy to advance Obama's green energy agenda. The funds were to be used by Honeywell's UOP subsidiary to build a biofuels technology demonstration plant in Oahu, Hawaii, supposedly creating 85 construction jobs and 40 permanent positions in each succeeding year.

The Energy Department further envisioned a facility producing biomass fuels "on a commercial scale ... with the potential to create approximately 800 construction jobs and 1,000 permanent jobs, including in biomass production."

The problem now is that it appears to be all but impossible to determine whether those rosy projections will come to pass. An April 2012 news report by Honolulu Civil Beat, a trade publication, quoted James Rekoske, Honeywell UOP's vice president for renewable energy, saying only "about 10 jobs" had been created at that point. (The Energy Department refused to provide Civil Beat with a copy of Honeywell's grant application.)

A Racist and Republican. Who would of thought Socrates would put me in that category?

Hey Brown, you want more examples? You do, great!

Sen. Majority Leader Harry Reid has fought on behalf of a Chinese-owned energy company, ENN Mojave Energy LLC, to build a billion-dollar solar energy plant in Nevada as part of the Obama White House "green jobs" campaign. Only problem, Reid's son Rory is one of the attorneys representing ENN Mojave.

Joe Hynansky, a friend and contributor to both Vice President Joe Biden and President Barack Obama, won a loan of up to $20 million backed by the U.S. government to build a luxury foreign auto dealership in . . . Ukraine. Stimulus? Hardly. Hynansky's family has donated more than $64,000 to both Obama's and Biden's various political campaigns.

You forgot Pelosi's BIL getting half a billion for a fairy dust and unicorn fart factory to be built in BFE.

The examples of stimulous tax payer dollars going to phony green energy schemes are sickening. The whole mess was just a way for O and his cronies to channel payback money to those who contributed to him and he in turn gets a taste back with further support from them. It's criminal and should warrant audit and thorough investigation. But it won't happen and they will laugh in the public's faces just as Brown and his squeeze do here.....

I'm taking the President's approach on Obamacare. I'm rolling out the minor stuff and saving the whoppers for the end. :D

What's that you say Socrates, you want more?

Forbes.com columnist Larry Bell says ABC News and the nonprofit Center for Public Integrity has linked $510 million in stimulus loans and grants to green-tech companies in a portfolio owned by Steve Westly. Westly is a campaign money-bundler who reportedly raised over $500,000 for the president?s campaign. According to Bell, Westly was appointed to serve on a 12-member advisory board that would help set priorities that could impact his business interests. One firm Bell says Westly has an interested in, Tesla Motors, saw its stock jump 6% after the administration announced it would offer $7,500 federal buyer-rebates for electric-car purchases.

Almost 90% of stimulus grants went to state or local governments, entities whose jobs are only sustainable over the long run with private tax revenue. Much of this money was really a payoff to public sector unions which were concurrently bankrupting state and local governments. The cash made it possible to keep funding inflated employee benefits in particular. Hence the term, leaches.

I'm embarrassed that I ever exchanged PMs with a two faced asshole who tried to engineer something that wasn't true into a threat, using another member to do it.

:)

Now you're building up a lie. Quote me, you spineless cunt. Show where I built up your death threat. Show where I turned it into something it wasn't. I stepped in and made it clear you were joking and I made it equally clear that joke was both illegal and entirely unethical. It should never have happened.

I've just driven that high horse right up your ass. Now, quote me, with context, and show how I built up that you wanted to kill anyone. There is no honest way you can do that without illustrating how I stepped in and helped Squeezer understand you have a twisted and dark sense of humor (that I enjoy sometimes).

Let's have it, Tommy. Step up or fuck off.

I don't see any quotes, Tommy. I see a couple of high-fives to moronic drivel coming from other zealots. It's easy to stand behind someone else and say, "Oh yeah! He just kicked your ass!" but it's a bit harder to actually step up, isn't it Tommy?

The thread you refer to

Here's a quote in which I defended you as a person but not your actions. That is exactly the correct position, considering you had done something illegal which is to threaten a man's life.

You came in here and threatened a man's life with your bullet reference. Now you're trying to turn it around on me? I'm as bad as you? Are you kidding? You're not fit to suck the cocks of the rest of the political regulars with that bullshit.

I knew you were joking but you were out of line. I was not. I didn't threaten anyone's life.

I was right. You were wrong.

:)

Feel good, Tommy? You threatened a man's life and you did apologize. I think that was cool enough. From there, you immediately lapsed into BS about Obamacare and tried to smear me with your death threat. You type it; you own it. Douche.

I don't make it a habit of hanging out with liars, Tommy. The other regulars are deluded. A couple of them really do they think Obama caused the economy to crash in the summer of 2008 by being elected in the fall of 2008. They think Obamacare was a tax in 2010. Death panels. Kenya. Conspiracy bullshit.... but not the real conspiracies... like the NSA and the out of control black budgets that are going toward spying on citizens. There is an actual conspiracy that would try anyone who might speak out about it for treason.

Dig your bunkers, boys. Prepare for the rapture. Put on your tinfoil hats and explain to each other how massive corporate welfare programs are OK but welfare for citizens is not OK. Enjoy your Republibating.

I see a few of the regulars here as outright traitors There's nothing wrong with conservative beliefs, voting Republican, engaging in political discussion, campaigning, etc. Lying is not right, however. As well as being a commandment, it's known to be wrong by pretty much everyone. Unfortunately, it has become accepted as required in today's society. You folks are at the summit of bullshit mountain. That's a shame because there are so many issues to discuss. There are so many legitimate ways you could challenge Democratic policies and so many real failings that could be pointed out but the core group here is disinterested in discussing those. Instead, you cling to the whaco stuff that diminishes your position.

Hey Tommy, remember "I never get angry"? You and I know that is not the truth. Why did you say it? Was that another joke?

You fucking moron. You jumped into a situation that was brought to my attention by the site owner.
I didn't say anything except a cryptic remark.

I wrote the apology at the request of the site owner, and posted it in the thread at the request of the site owner.

YOU had to jump in and start celebrating it like a pig in a pile of shit.
Which is why I told you "Fuck You".

You disgust me, you don't anger me.
IF anything you said had any relevance, or if you could actually have some sort if influence in out politics, or if your dribble actually affected my life in some way, then you would see me angry.

Then you would be more than the irritation that you are now.

It seems painfully obvious that this world of Warcraft type existence you have concerning the web has distorted your view of reality somewhat.

That's why you couldn't see that parking your car in front of a mans place of business and posting the pic was a threat to him. You saw it as yet another antagonistic prank, he saw it as reason to beat the living shit out of your narrow ass and have you arrested.

I believe he would have too, if you had pulled over.

So, as usual, your talking out both sides of your ass.

Nope. Not in 2010.

ObamaCare was passed by Congress on March 21, 2010, and signed into federal law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010.

WTF Socrates, you're losing it. Are you conceding your argument on crony capitalism? No, okay here are some more.

Districts of Democratic members of Congress received on average 1.6 times as many awards as Republican districts, and twice as much money.

The Labor Department awarded $2 million in stimulus contracts to a public relations firm, one of whose tasks was to prepare advertising on "progressive movement" television shows friendly to the administration. Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, a subsidiary of General Electric, whose CEO was also close to the administration, qualified. You know MSNBC don't you, aka "The Obama cover up network"

You're a lunatic.

The fact that a Democratic friendly enterprise received stimulus is not proof of crony capitalism. If only Democratic party sympathizers received funding or if a vast majority of Democratic party sympathizers received funding, you might have something but you do not.

How about the Detroit bailout? Bunch of cronies, eh? All Democrats, according to you. I think not.

Crony capitalism would be starting a Trillion dollar war on false pretense and using the company the vice president left CEO position in, to become VP, as the single largest war related contractor for both the fighting and the rebuild. Now there is the Rosetta Stone of crony capitalism.

$2M in funds ... not to MSNBC... but to a PR firm that happens to do business with MSNBC... is a pretty fucking thin boogie man. You're a loon.

Tom, ignoring some facts and acknowledging others to make your arguments valid is no different than lying.
Its misrepresentation, and is exactly what the media and O do day in Nd day out.

It's the same shit you pulled in R&Js oil thread.
You simply ignore valid points if they don't suit you, and then ask to be quoted to prove you wrong.

Your BS tactics are no different than any other POS lib.
Worse, in fact, considering you are nothing more than a voteless meddler.

Yeah, that's pretty much the definition of crony capitalism, doesn't matter what party does it, fleecing the tax payers money to "stimulate" some particular business, just one of the many forms of crony capitalism, others include highly specialized tax incentives, regulatory manipulations which provide advantages to certain companies, etc....

"Crony capitalism is a term describing an economy in which success in business depends on close relationships between business people and government officials. It may be exhibited by favoritism in the distribution of legal permits, government grants, special tax breaks, or other forms of dirigisme" -http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crony_capitalism

Crony capitalism has been occurring for decades, coming from both parties in Washington, and every single state in the Union.

You are asserting the only way a Democratic administration can be non-crony is by sponsoring 100% Republican businesses with stimulus money.

Some would suggest that non-crony would be a reasonably even split between funding of Democrat and Republican owned businesses. Others might suggest that non-crony position is the complete disregard for party affiliation, during the contractor and subcontractor selection process. What objective hiring is not, however, is the hiring of 100% non-Democrat owned companies.

My gawd! lol! :D

Give me some time to process this thread. There is a lot of bullshit in here that needs forking out before we can bring in any fresh straw.

Translation: "Let me weed out the things that I disagree with but can't discount, then I will be back with a line of BS that will have little to do with reality, but will be like blinding truth from the sun in my own mind"..

My gawd! lol! :D

Please list the tax increases Obama had imposed by 2010.

Let me see, er eh................... OBAMACARE!

Nope. Not in 2010.

ObamaCare was passed by Congress on March 21, 2010, and signed into federal law by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010.

There was no tax increase in 2010. Your boogie man is bullshit.

:lmao

$23.6 Billion: "Black liquor" tax hike (Took effect in 2010) This is a tax increase on a type of bio-fuel. Bill: Reconciliation Act; Page: 105

$22.2 Billion: Tax on Innovator Drug Companies (Took effect in 2010): $2.3 billion annual tax on the industry imposed relative to share of sales made that year. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,971-1,980

And you have the nerve to call others liars?

What's that you say, you want more?

$0.4 Billion: Blue Cross/Blue Shield Tax Hike (Took effect in 2010): The special tax deduction in current law for Blue Cross/Blue Shield companies would only be allowed if 85 percent or more of premium revenues are spent on clinical services. Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,004

$ Negligible: Excise Tax on Charitable Hospitals (Took effect in 2010): $50,000 per hospital if they fail to meet new "community health assessment needs," "financial assistance," and "billing and collection" rules set by HHS. Bill: PPACA; Page: 1,961-1,971

$2.7 Billion: Tax on Indoor Tanning Services (Took effect July 1, 2010): New 10 percent excise tax on Americans using indoor tanning salons. Bill: PPACA; Page: 2,397-2,399

Come on shithead, tell me I'm a liar!

Don't get distracted with the crony capitalism Socrates, stay on point, 2010 taxes!

Where did you go skidmark? :eek:uttahere:I've been waiting for your admission that sometimes, you don't know what the fuck you're spewing.

Regor, I do not pretend to know everything. I have an interest in US politics and I will answer your questions. Certainly, there have been times when I've been wrong. The thing is, I can only think of a couple of times when I've been wrong in this forum. Really, only one or two. You guys make me feel like the smartest guy around. Thanks, for that! :D

Here's how I do it:

I read some of the posts and you guys blow my hair back with some unbelievably far out assertions. You post stuff that is clearly wrong so I can either refute it directly or I can often research it in 10 seconds to discover it is absolutely and unequivocally wrong. It's clear a few of you are probably clinically paranoid and many of you are deluded.

Here's the best part. When I post that I'm working on my roof, guess what I'm doing? Yeah... I'm working on my roof. I'm digging my basement to waterproof it. Installing siding. Installing patios. Doing landscape jobs. Doint countless projects in my shop.

I doubt you have any idea how self-sufficient I am. I've got a really good collection of tools and equipment: skid steers with tons of implements (1 mini, 1 full size), plate compactor, dump trailer, 1-ton pickup, more hand tools than any contractor I know, and I've spent years working in the trades. I do as much for myself as I possibly can.

The point is, I would do better in a non-socialized environment than anyone I know. As long as there is a level playing field, I will tend to do pretty well. I'm not a big fan of socialized government programs.

Hell, I wish they wouldn't have helped us during the flood of 2011. The government poured millions into flood water control and our taxes have reflected that. I built my own sand bag machine and used my equipment to fill bags for myself and neighbors. My effort carried zero ongoing cost but you don't hear me crying about how the government gave my son AIDS or that our prime minister isn't a Canadian.

I am not on the side of Barack Obama. I'm on the side of the truth.

You hate Obama? Cool. You don't like Democrat policies? Cool.

You are literally causing me to defend Obama when you throw down some of the unfathomable BS that flows through here. Remember the thread where one of the PB members cited an article indicating Barack Obama approved the teaching of anal fisting in high schools? I'm not making that up. I posted that there is no way but the whacos doubled down on that lie and high-fived each other like Raider fans who just had their charges dropped.

Why do I love Obama? I don't. Why am I against you? ... because I have morals and ethics.

If you could just reign it in a bit and stick to the truth, you might find I could even add to your position and fill in some details on the erosion of your civil liberties, the coming implosion of your economy, the potential courses of action to improve the situation, and all sorts of other stuff.

Guess what? Our local jobs web site lists manufacturing jobs as hte #1 growth area for our community. Not so long ago, we couldn't make change. Now we're building a surprising amount of stuff.

There is always hope. There are always things that can be done to improve the situation. The key is to keep the dialog open. Don't try to punish people who don't share your point of view. A forum like this could easily hatch a plan to improve the world in some way and that's what it's all about.

Hahahah this right here sums up the polarized shield you see things through. Give me the logical breakdown of my assertion Tom, and how it comes to that conclusion.

My assertion was more along the lines of: The only way (insert any party here) administration can be non-crony, is by not crony sponsoring any business with (insert whatever you want to call it) money.

But as usual you have warped it into the "if you are against the Democrats then you are obviously for the Republicans" framework......

I'm going to post whatever I want, whenever I want. You are going to have zero say about that.

Any point I wish to stay on, I will. You got that?

I sure as hell don't report to you. Be civil and I will go easy on you when you blame your next herpes outbreak on Barack Obama.

I already did that in post #81. I cited portions of my original post and your response, verbatim. It does not get any more clear than that.

Straight out, if the government gives a contract to a company run predominantly by Democrats, that does not prove crony capitalism. You were 100% wrong by opposing me in this regard.

If the government gives contracts to a predominant ratio of Democrat run companies, that is crony capitalism.

You can't see a quarter and declare discrimination against dimes and nickels. Come on, man. This is really getting stupid, now. I can't spoon feed reality to you any more simply than I am doing right now. You either get it or you don't. In your case, you don't.

OK. I'll take this as an indication that you are whacked beyond what even I previously estimated. :D

The fact you want me to respond to dozens of posts in just a few minutes is really not flattering to you. lol! :D :D

Fistgate II: High School Students Given "Fisting Kits" At Kevin Jennings' GLSEN Conference (Photo)

Posted by Jim Hoft on Tuesday, December 8, 2009, 6:14 AM

In March 2000 the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) organization of Massachusetts held its 10 Year Anniversary GLSEN/Boston conference at Tufts University. This conference was fully supported by the Massachusetts Department of Education, the Safe Schools Program, the Governor?s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, and some of the presenters even received federal money. During the 2000 conference, workshop leaders led a ?youth only, ages 14-21″ session that offered lessons in ?fisting? a dangerous sexual practice. During the same workshop an activist asked 14 year-old students, ?Spit or swallow?? Is it rude?? The unbelievable audio clip is posted here. Barack Obama?s ?Safe Schools Czar? Kevin Jennings is the founder of GLSEN. He was paid $273,573.96 as its executive director in 2007. Jennings was the keynote speaker at the 2000 GLSEN conference.

Unfortunately for GLSEN, undercover journalists with Mass Resistance recorded these outrageous sessions. The audio was later leaked to a local radio station. This created such an uproar that GLSEN leaders were forced to apologize for their disgusting behavior.

Thanks to Soros-linked Media Matters we now know that GLSEN director, and current Obama Safe Schools Czar, Kevin Jennings was confronted on the vile content discussed at the children?s conference.

?Like the Parents Rights Coalition and the Department of Education, GLSEN is also troubled by some of the content that came up during this workshop,? said Kevin Jennings, national executive director of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network.

He said people who run workshops in the future will get clearer guidelines, though Jennings said the network?s annual conference at Tufts University should not be judged on the 30-student seminar ?What They Didn?t Tell You About Queer Sex and Sexuality in Health Class.?

?We need to make our expectations and guidelines to outside facilitators much more clear,? said Jennings. ?Because we are surprised and troubled by some of the accounts we?ve heard.?

But despite Media Matters? claims, Kevin Jennings and his GLSEN organization did nothing to clean up their act. In fact in 2001 activists handed out ?fisting kits? to the children and teachers who attended the GLSEN conference.
That?s correct. Fisting kits.

You are right again, the TIC didn't personally advocate anal fisting or hand out fisting kits.........outside of his own bedroom.

I just thought of something. If you're going to start your own business, you're not going to have time to share your intellect with us. :thumbsdown

I suggest you hire a bunch of messicans and give them snow blowers. Those fuckers just work and they require minimal supervision. :thumbsup
