With the proliferation of personal drones here (Thanks Chinese DJI), it would take quite a while before someone realizes a drone isn't a harmless personal one getting oddly close. Likely not until it performs it's task.

Last I saw Ukraine is exhausting about 10,000 armed FPV drones a month. I haven’t looked at the numbers in a few months, so it could be way higher now.
They typically modify a Mavic, strap an RPG to it and go.
The teams usually start each daily (or so) mission with pre selected targets and about 50 or more drones.
(They all look like Mavics)
A team will be in a secret bunker or shelter and launch drones one after another, with the FPV pilots sitting in the bunker flying the drones. As I recall they’d be within a mile or so of their targets, so pretty close and pretty well hidden.
The Russian soldiers freak the fuck out when they see them because there is no hiding.
They come in full speed and straight into the targets.
No fucking around…one after the other.
The last order to China for DJI drones to Ukraine was $27 million as I recall?
That’s us paying for those…to China, via Zelenskyy.
The kicker? Russia uses them too.
China could literally give them away to Russia and charge Ukraine double and call it a day and we would just pay it. They might be doing that right now at $3800 per Mavic.
Ukraine is also building its own drones now for larger scale usage.
