Yea, I know, we need the rain, [emoji23] but damn, why can’t it just rain overnight & on the weekends? Not during work hours & commutes. Lol [emoji23]

I guess more rain is expected tomorrow & mid-next week. [emoji943][emoji299]️[emoji23]

I figure at least $500 a day loss when it rains. My phone blowing up for work that is supposed to be done but rain setting us back.

Only plus side is watching Naci fill up. Need to make a trip this summer to make up for all the lost $$$.

On weekends?!?!? I would rather have it rain while I'm at work then on the weekend when I want to do things.

I do work indoors, if you work outside I could see how that could suck.

This. I work indoors, but typically would rather be outside. When it's clear all week while I'm at work and then I wake up Saturday morning to rain all weekend, puts me in a bit of a mood...because now I'm stuck inside and the kid has an excuse to sit and play video games all weekend instead of playing outside

I work indoors but do have a commute and therefore, only wish it rained during non-commuting hours. :)

You guys know this is just the start of a vicious yearly cycle in California. Next will be epic floods, followed by devasting drought, followed by brown lawns and water rationing, followed by deadly firenados. You'll be real happy when it starts raining again next year.........

That's how I use too be, but ever since I started too be an emergency contractor for a insurance company, it's the other way around. The harder it rains the mor3 my phone rings. 12 calls today alone. I topically show up, punch a hole too let the water out and call the clean up company and a roofer. It's not easy money, but the hours can sure suck

I grew up in SoCal, with a dad in construction. As a kid, always thought rainy days were cool. Dad picked me up from school, canned soup with stale crackers...bitchin:cool:
Got older, and realized rainy days were really bad...dad picked me up because he wasn't working. No work, no money. El Nino crap could be really hard on a family if you worked outside.
As you get older, memory has a different perspective. Driving to work in the rain sure as hell beats sitting at home, hoping it stops.

Roofers are loving it. I just left a house both balconies are leaking. Got a bunch of roof calls maybe it will balance out.

One job we have a few days to finish framing but rain keeps stopping us. 1/2" plywood is now 3/4". A lot of material there and my yard getting destroyed.

That sir ain't no shit at all. I live in a fire prone area, we've already lost one house to one, so I'm loving this weather !! Going on four months now I haven't scanned the horizon for smoke --- fuck yeah !!
But, if we don't get the rain the fire folks and D&G news folks will scream we're all going to burn.:mad:
When we get a lot of rain, the weeds grow tall and the same folks scream the same message.:mad:
Fact pretty much is, if it's not raining, it's fire season  :(

Really glad I replaced my 32 year old roof last summer. I don’t remember the last time we had this much rain & snow, and it looks like a lot more coming down the pipeline the next few weeks!

I just pray a lot of these SoCal Storms Pass thru the Rockies and fill up Lake Powell and Mead this summer :D

Maybe someone in the powerline business should consider the fact that most of them are FUCKING OUTSIDE and take measures to make them such that they're rainproof

I stay home when it rains like this. I always say, I'll do paperwork today but I usually sleep in and enjoy the rain..

I think this has to be one of the wettest winters i can remember. Wonder where it will rank historically when its all said and done.

The last time I remember this much rain, California had a big earthquake. :)
Ive been telling people same thing. The year before the 94 quake. We had a lot of rain in Simi. One well head we had on the property would flow out if we pulled the cap. The cap was a foot off the ground. Haha.
