I thought some of there stuff looks pretty cool, some not so much. Everything must be super heavy with all the metal they manage to add everywhere.

When I worked at BAR a Chevy Tahoe fell of the rack at a Sacramento area Midas shop. Midas Shop then decided to send it to a half assed body shop to have it repaired without telling the customer what happened. The Body shop did a total shit job and left a bunch of hidden damage. Tahoe was then given back to the customer. Needless to say the Midas shop got into a little trouble and ended up writing a fat check.

My little brother up until a year ago managed 13 Jiffy Lube's in the greater Phoenix area, and the majority of his time was spent doing damage control for claims against the company because of employee negligence and utterly stupid ass things. Many of his stores did repair along with general service. That picture is real. I remember the day he called me and a basically new Duramax fell off the lift, and was sitting on its side in the shop, I lost count of how many times his employees forgot to put oil in or drain plugs fell out on the customers way home, or the vehicle leaked all over their high dollar driveway. It was endless. He had to quit because of the stress and the corporate HR would make it even more difficult for him to manage the employees. It was an absolute shit show he endured for 9 years

Not sure dealers are any better.

In 2 separate occasions they inspected the air filter on my Honda and didn’t clamp the housing cover down, it was sitting there unclamped

My Tundra had the rotors so messed up during a brake job at the dealer that when I left and hit the brakes the steering wheel about jumped out of my hands. It took new rotors to fix what they screwed up.

The jeep dealer didnt tighten the neg terminal on my. battery warranty job. I got as far as a mile on the freeway in rush hour and the neg terminal fell off and the entire Jeep turned off. No steering, blinkers brake lights - nothing. LOL image trying to make an attempt to get to the right shoulder with no lights and drifting in 70mph bumper to bumper traffic.

Had that happen to my new crew cab in 1984. Dealer doing warranty work. Truck was up on a center post lift; mechanic went to lunch and the lift bled down. His roll away box was partially under the right rocker and flipped the truck on its side. Don't know if he had a job after lunch.
