As a roofer, we'd get hounded constantly by people checking status and taxes.

Amazon uses “Vendors” for moving all of their packages anywhere, including line hauls and final mile. They make all of their “Vendors” lease their vehicles from their “3rd party leasing agency” and monitor every delivery with photos, gps and onboard driver monitoring. They have to be spending a ton of money fighting lawsuits and unions. Not sure how an illegal slipped through their process but they will close that up really quick..

In my ass area, Amazon has mostly the blue vans, but some are plain white. A couple of drivers have told me they have no consistent route, nor vans. During monsoons, it's a shit show. Some roads are too muddy. The local Amazon hub probably runs 50-60 vans, and farms out maintenance to the Ford dealer, that purchased 2 utility rigs dedicated to the purpose.

If you want to get in to the Amazon delivery business, you can make some money, not rich but a decent living. They tell you what to pay your drivers, fix your lease payments through their leasing company. If you are smart, you figure out how to not share your income statements with them, so you can make more. Definitely a grind but decent money to be had.

I have a buddy in the Midwest who started an Amazon delivery “business” and turned that in to rental properties and a chain of paint shops. He used it to create a generational business for his family…while still delivering for Amazon.

My bad. Upon further review, that is the criminal illegal alien putting the stroller upright, putting the baby inside, and then hauling ass fleeing the hit and run.
