What kind of Government/Country has this become in 2 Years? Gov. Ducey and the State of Arizona are being Sued to remove the Shipping Containers from "Our" Arizona-Mexico Section of the Border for attempting to slow down the Disaster we are experiencing. What Country fights its own Citizens for trying to defend themselves?

Then, there are many who it seems that could care less, and/or ignore the obvious Danger that is here and coming.

This Administration is treating these "Criminals much better than our "Veterans" This and after the "griner" trade, how in Hell do we expect to have our Young people Enlist in our Armed Forces?🤔

Don't worry about the lawsuits, they will all disappear in a couple of weeks when Hobbs takes over and has the containers removed. Did anyone see the news report of the Phoenix police officer that came in contact of Fentanyl? Knocked her ass out, probably could have killed her. But there is no problem at the border, just ask any democrat.

Now, Gov. elect "hobbs" has joined this Fight and is researching what she is going to do about the "Containers". I must have missed her stating she was an "Open Border" supporter, during the Campaigno_O

Did I miss that?

There were things I did not care for with "Lake", but I did Vote for her, This State is like all the others:confused:

How could Anyone in their Sane Mind, support a Wide Open Border?

Well shit, that's what I get listening to the wife. She was telling me about it when I was driving this morning, just assumed it was Phoenix.
Bad deal either way, that stuff most likely came across the open border.

Geeze, wonder who would sue AZ and the contractor, over the border shipping containers ?? 🤔

Oh yeah, these guys, the same ones that we had four threads about yesterday that want boats to barely exceed idle speed on the East Coast to protect a few whales.

In my all to short 75 years on this rock, I've come to believe that insanity is not exclusive to either side, but is encountered the closer one gets the fringes of either.
I do not believe the world would be a better place solely guided the rules or influence of either one.
It's often the concerns raised by those extremes that can influence moderates in either direction.
It's usually the voices of those extremes that resound the loudest to garner attention.
That attention isn't always appreciated by all who hear, as being positive.

And no, I don't vote democrat, but I have friends who boat and drag race who on occasion have.

With the state of the nation/world these days, I'd say you moderates have not only failed this generation, but many more to come.

You've buried your heads in the sand long enough, it's OBVIOUSLY a losing strategy for the populace in whole. 🙁

Just my humble opinion as always T. 😝

Interesting POV, but not sure you quite understood what I was saying. Democrats act like a chicken voting for Col Sanders. Yes, republicans at times do that, but its usually them voting for RINOs. As we know, RINOs are like democrats, in that they love being the ruling class. When a RINO says they are OK with killing off access to lakes for power boats, they get voted out. When a democrat says they are OK with killing off access to lakes for power boats, they say in. Same with the guy that races at a drag strip and the democrat they voted for helps close that drag strip I have no reason to feel sorry for that sob.

I cant really think of the converse, so not sure where you think this is a balanced issue. As the saying goes, if you walk in the middle of the road, you get run over. Centrism sucks.

I respect your opinion, and I agree that the concept of moderation requires a far more delicate balancing act that would a dominion ruled by absolutes of either side.
During my life, I've watched the needle sway back and forth and quite often my frustration at it's direction, is no less than yours.

I believe living in the world forced to take a knee to your vision of what constitutes "Freedom" would be worse than struggling with the challenges of choice we're facing.

Absolutes are far easier to create and control, than the more abstracts and variables required by compromise.

At the furthest most outermost edge of the Red Spectrum, where any degree of moderation or consideration of the views of others isn't tolerated. ;)

That's just a wild guess, but I could be wrong.
Perhaps you'd care to share an example of a country that's enjoying a successful model of your ideals ?

Yesterday and Today. Indeed. Then and Now.

At 65, listening to you guys here, sounds like in 1973, 'fixin to leave work at 16, sitting on my Honda 305 at Ruhm Tile and Marble, listening to the Local 17/28 Union Setters, Helpers, Marble shop Foremen. Mostly over my head, lol. Tricky Dick then, Gropey Joe now, gotta go.

So you don't advocate this grand experiment we refer to as Democracy unless it's one sided ? Would certainly be far less complicated.
I believe there's other names for systems based on that premise.

I didn't say it WAS , IS or EVER has been perfectly balanced. To accomplish that, would require everybody to be happy with every decision that government makes on their behalf. That's highly unlikely, in fact impossible.
People simply do not all think alike or enjoy the same things, so what do you suggest we do with those who disagree ?

The trick is TRYING to maintain a balance, which is very much like steering a boat at idle. You can't just hold the wheel in one position, because you'll eventually go in a circle, but to go straight requires steering one way, then the other, hopefully not to radically in either, else the oscillation can become excessive ---- similar to what we're now experiencing, we've swung left and the course does require correction.

Yup, starting out in the electrical trade in the union apprenticeship, back then, the trades were heavily union influenced and indoctrination was certainly part of the indentured program. So yes, conversations during lunch were often political.

It’s called a constitution there T.

The problem with it is you moderates have allowed the left to run rough shot all over it, along with a party that you support. You’re not wrong when you say I am not willing to allow compromise in my beliefs at this point. You’ve allowed the Commies in and they are no friend of a constitution. You keep living in the old days when things were moderate, that is not the case today. Both sides, including the side you support are corrupt to the bone scumbags.

How about the state of Lady Justice and the two-tiered system that we currently live under? Do you think your moderation has worked well there?

How do you think the founding fathers would view your “tolerance” of the constitution and the state of our nation currently?

hmmm, I dont think I've advocated for a pure conservative nation.

Rather, I'm saying that democrats that vote for people that govern counter to their values and interests are dumb.

Excellent post,If only you added 1 more paragraph suggesting Solutions to the bullshit going on right now.
Major solution i see right is “Attrition”. The faster my generation dies off the better it gonna be for Politicians in all parties.

Centrism is a political outlook or position involving acceptance or support of a balance of social equality and a degree of social hierarchy while opposing political changes that would result in a significant shift of society strongly to the left or the right.[1]

Both centre-left and centre-right politics involve a general association with centrism that is combined with leaning somewhat to their respective sides of the left–right political spectrum. Various political ideologies, such as Christian democracy,[2] Pancasila,[3][4][5] and certain forms of liberalism like social liberalism,[6] can be classified as centrist, as can the Third Way,[7] a modern political movement that attempts to reconcile right-wing and left-wing politics by advocating for a synthesis of centre-right economic platforms with centre-left social policies.[8][9]

Usually, centrists tend to fall into this category of centration:

In psychology, centration is the tendency to focus on one salient aspect of a situation and neglect other, possibly relevant aspects.[1] Introduced by the Swiss psychologist Jean Piaget through his cognitive-developmental stage theory, centration is a behaviour often demonstrated in the preoperational stage.[2] Piaget claimed that egocentrism, a common element responsible for preoperational children's unsystematic thinking, was causal to centration.[2] Research on centration has primarily been made by Piaget, shown through his conservation tasks, while contemporary researchers have expanded on his ideas.

Bottom line, I think that folks that cant choose a side are weak. They focus on one item so they dont rock the boat, even when the one item they focus on is not the most important thing. It makes them FEEL good, that they can deal with something. However, rarely is life simple, or one thing. Politics, which the left has infected EVERYTHING with, is a prime example.

Either way, its hard not to see that the left has fucked things up even more than RINOs have. From my standpoint both suck.

That's the tough part, we're limited at this point as it can't be accomplished through the ballot box any longer.

The Administrative State is so entrenched that the people will most likely have to save the nation and as each generation dies off, it seems less of a concern unfortunately.

A nice economic collapse will help, so we've got that going for us.

I see, so I vote for the same corrupt scum you have, but you choose to blame me for the erosion of the Original Ideals of the Constitution.

I do not believe that the declarations contained within the Constitution, such as "Liberty and Justice for all" pertains only to those who's priorities and beliefs align exactly with yours.

Then you blame ME for allowing the Commies in, when I'm one of the fuckas who put his ass on the line to shoot the bastards.
How many commies did you personally kill ?

Am I to understand our disagreement stems from the word "All" ?
You're unwilling to allow a compromise that allows "All" a say, or all to be equally represented ?

I actually believe what we disagree on, is your apparent view that the best way to fix the country is to first destroy the country. And only then can we restore it as it was in 1776.

I'm done, take care

What I'm blaming you for is your moderation, that has got us to where we are. Of course I'm speaking generally about people of similar beliefs as yourself, but as you guys bent the knee OVER and OVER to the left, you have gotten us to where we are, regardless of how many commies you lined up. You should have encouraged it here, instead of compromising with them.

You support a party that likes to lose, you know why? Because they make more money off of fundraising when they're in the minority and we saw just this week how they spend that money, didn't we?

I have no problem with compromise, I have and will continue, but not right now. I'm dealing with people who thought my President was a Russian spy, deserved impeachment from a phone call to investigate corruption, injected an unproven mRNA shot and gave up their liberties due a bad flu. So in that case, I see no reason to even entertain their thoughts to be honest.

Answer the questions.

Who have you voted for or who's efforts you've support with contributions, that you think I haven't ? How can you support the Constitution and not support the concept of "ALL" ?

Again, "You People", "My moderation", are you incapable of having a discussion without reverting to name calling or labeling ?

What have you done that's different from what I've done, expounded daily on RDP ?

"Poon", "Grow a spine" "Answer the questions" ---- fucking excuse me 🖕 There's your answer

I've supported a President that attempted to claw our nation back from the commies 100%. Even in the face of MULTIPLE BULLSHIT claims that the majority of the weak minded right fell for, I refused to budge. You know why, because I know how a Praetorian Guard works.

You're a good man T, just a bit misdirected. I'm going to help you with that. 👍

EDIT: the reason I called you a poon is every time things get tough down here, you pull the rip cord. And for the record, I respect the shit out of your knowledge and experience.

I fully supported DT initially, and I was stoked because I felt based on his business experience he had so much potential. And that's all I'm going to say about that, because that's the only thing we can probably agree on where DT is concerned.

I think your undying support is admirable, but doesn't reward you with a position of superiority from up on high. Other than being a rootin-tootin RDP influencer, you've accomplished no more than I.

I won't question the fact that your daily immersion in all things political has rewarded you with a knowledge of current events I couldn't begin to spar with.
So much so, I enjoy reading it, and I believe there's value here if you've got the time and patience to wade through all the daily bullshit.

By bullshit I mean, far to many immature personal attacks and nonsensical angry venting. I don't like that and I'm way to fucking old to tolerate it.

When I was in business I had cock sucking morons calling me, cussing, ranting, raving and in the end they usually proven wrong. But, regardless I had to sit and let them berate me, my talented crews and the company, but hey, it went with the job.

Well guess what sir ? I don't work here, I come here because I find it entertaining and often educational. I do not however find it enjoyable to have some 40 year old who's younger than my own kids going off on me with insults and accusations because they've made baseless assumptions after taking something I wrote out of context, or simply a misunderstanding. That comment was not directed at you, FYI.

Trust me with sharing this little secret, something you'll discover in a few years. When you're old it's REALLY easy to find things that make you angry.
I imagine probably killing two or three people a day, today was well above my average. In fact I find it much more difficult NOT to be angry.

But here's the reality, when you've more than likely got less than 10 years left, and we all know how scary fast 10 can evaporate into the past, how many are worth being lost to anger ? ( Oddly as I type that, I can hear my wife voice)
I will answer that question sir, NONE 💀 ---- and that's why I suppose I'm a bona fide RDP P&G Poon 🥴

And that's all target practice I'm in the mood to be on the receiving end of today. 😁

It's really a similar time as far as division goes, the Vietnam, post Vietnam Era. Dirdy tricks Dick, inflatoon, gas crisis, Ford Clinton malaise, Iran crisis. Then bam!, Reagan!

But it's 2 years after a stolen election, 7 years into the Destroy Donald Ttump at all cost Era.

That's kinda not normally how elections are supposed to work. But Democrats will do Anything to win, and Republicans won't stop them. The future of this Republic is in jeopardy.

But Hey! Bread and Circuses!

Excellent post,If only you added 1 more paragraph suggesting Solutions to the bullshit going on right now.
Major solution i see right is “Attrition”. The faster my generation dies off the better it gonna be for Politicians in all parties.
that their game plan...

they won't stop... until their quota is met and or controlled

Typical Texas border dispute with the Feds. "Meet Y'all at the Red River. Come on down..."
Currently, Razor wire, armed National Guard blocking crossing in El Paso. Fuck that Federal land bullshit here. Not much of it here in Texas...

1000000% Agreed. The Gov should stand firm and make Biden send in Fed troops to physically remove the Texas NG. Enough is Enough!

Fort Hood's right over the hill. Bring it. Can even use the Afghani's as human shields.
